The best ufo singthing is when you see ufo whit your eyes. U wont get mutch atention if you ask this stupid question. For me the best singhtings are the crop circle ufo sightings. I didnt see fake ones and i saw them alot.

Well the star ive been going on about has finally come back.
Im in middlesbrough cleveland and the star is approx south south west at 30 degrees up from horizon
looks like 3 stars all in 1

hey guys ,ive just bought a new telescope its a MEADE ETX-90...has anyone any experience of this telescope?
ive only bought it to finally get some pictures of the star ive been going on about,from what ive been told its the bolox... i cant wait!

i dont want to just use my lass's cheap digi camera if its not gonna do me much good... what do u reckon its 10 meg but a cheap camera?

can anyone tell me what

looks like 3 stars in a small very tight cluster(with binoculas i am guessing)
naked eye looks like 1 very bright star(brightest star in the sky,no other star/planet is even close,not even the north star?

is visable in the night sky (northern uk)?

from around august to december last year in the south west sky about 40-45 degrees up from horizon
visable for 3 nights out of seven .......of 7 clear nights continuous i.e a monday , tuesday,friday.object was in the night sky....and the
sky was clear ..no cloud that full seven nights.the other nights it wasnt there

then in december it dissapears until 3 night ago

reappears in the east to south east night sky at 30 degrees up from horizon

i have seen it for the first 2 nights(clear visability)but not last night due to zero visability)

anyone???

now ive just spent a bit of money on a decent telescope so i can get a photo of this star so im very serious
please no stupid replies

Jason, download stellarium. It's free and it's cool.

Enter location & time and then you can track the movement of any planet/star/constellation in real-time, zoom-in & out and dozens of other features.

The night-lite setting is pretty cool.. so you can sit outside with the laptop and a telescope and follow the heavens.

It'll help you a lot to know maybe a dozen constellations in the sky, it makes it easier for everyone to know exactly where and what you are talking about it.


I'd start with constellations (from there you get to the stars therein)

For example:

Orion.. you have the belt:
Sirius as a continuation to it's left
Aldebaran (as the pointed arrow) as a continuation to it's right
Betelguese the bright fucker above
Rigel the bright fucker below.

Follow the belt through Aldebaran and you arrive at the Pleiades (=seven sisters (though there are 100's with a telescope) :P )...


Continue on that line and you arrive at cassiopeia etc. etc.


A year ago i knew fuck all about stars and stuff (bar the big dipper) and would point to the sky and say "see that bright one.. just next to the brighter one.." LOL


Now, 2 folk on the phone and in different locations can narrow down the general area to about the size of ones outstretched hands via the phone.

its no good now i suppose but when i seen the star last year it was just above sirius(checked a star chart at the time),only 1 night from memory tho ,another night i remember it just been above and to the left of orion
i did check at the time.but wasnt into this as much.

ive just posted on a few other forums, sky at night etc(with a lot more details) its took me hours to put it all together lol)


well i suppose we all start somewhere lol well ive already named this star after me and my missus lmao.

i'll be happy when i finally get the telescope,get some bloody pics ,the best i ever got was through some crap binoculars,thats where i got the 3 stars in 1 from.

UFO HUNTERS on the History Channel had an episode that said digital cameracan see what we humans can't see. I saw a peculiar bright white
bobbing star and when I held up my camera towards it, three red dots
in formation appeared next to it, where my eyes couldn't see it. I wish I had
a telescope!

it was last star you could see at 0405 tonight...... position 4 oclock from the moon about 10 degrees . ive got some pics but we will see how they come out.thanks jason

from what ive heard back its a satalite.... or niburu or a ufo lol

hehehe. get my telescope tomorrow or weds...bloody thing will probably dissapear for another 6 months(just my luck lol)
