Does anyone on here have any cure, or way of improving, complementary or otherwise, for hearing loss ? My hearing loss, I think, is not that bad, but I do have a degree of it, so does anyone know any cures or way of improving hearing loss ?

You'd need a bit more aetiology and diagnosis to suggest something.
What has caused the hearing loss? Is it catarrhal blockage, decay of the meatus bone process, nerve damage, effects of noise, age-related, outward expression of a desire to shut the world out, and so on and so forth?
There are many ways to alleviate hearing loss other than a hearing aid, but no universal restorations as far as I know.

I have Tinitus 24/7, but that actually doesn't effect your hearing, but it sure does seem like it, and it sure is annoying
My friend had hearing issues, he had his stirrups replaced. It's not perfect, but it allowed him to keep his job as an air traffic controller.
Maybe some natural antihistamine (http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&safe=off&num=100&ei=rf7TSbylBqPCM8eSifUO&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=1&ct=result&cd=1&q=natural+antihistamine&spell=1) might help? It's probably best to have a Brain Stem Test.

Question : Is there cure for tinnitus ? - i am asking for another person.
He sufferer from tinnitus - and he was wondering if anyone knows any cures or ways to make living with tinnitus easier. he believe in the power of complementary therapy or "alternative" medicine as it's wrongly called, and he have been looking at a few, but he was wondering if anyone knows about any cures or any medication or complementary meidicine etc., to make living with tinnitus easier.
Answer : Have a chiropracter make sure the Atlas Axis (C1, C2) and also C3-C7 along with the rest of the Spine. Also check into these herbs Blessed Thistle, Gingko Biloba, Cayenne, Rosemary & Horseradish. He might get some where utilising Virgin Castor Oil over the head and heated with a water bottle nightly three days on and one day off. Heat the oil near the ear region more so. Also start off with Milk Thistle herb for the liver for a month then add with it Artichoke. After 2-3 months on this or maybe more you can go on the balancing Greater Celandine herb for probably six months tops hopefully. The use of Dr John Ray Christopher`s nervine formula for internal use would be good along with the one in the link below for the ears. - Craig Oxley
w00t, I too have tinnititus and a 70% reduced hearing in my left ear and a 30% reduction in my right.
I believed the quacks on this one, thinking it was incurable and so never bothered to post here for a fix but now I've come across this information I am very hope full smile.gif
As for the origins of my bad hearing, well it is quite confusing.
When I was 13 I was hit by a small van and suffered what I guess to be heavy head trauma since I have a small indent to my upper forehead and half my front crown was shaven off probably from sliding along the tarmac - ROFL!
From then on I had mild hearing loss because I remember I always wanted my hearing tested by the school nurse. She said I have very mild hearing loss.
Then throughout my late teens I was a keen paintball player and we would regulary use army pyro's which were ridiculously loud. One went off a mere foot away and I'm sure it also reduced my hearing even more.
Then more recently in a club I was standing next to the loud speaker (stupid I know) and about 3 mornings after I woke up to an absolutely huge loss of hearing to the point where I felt utterly disorientated. I hoped it would go away but it never did and that's my hearing today - crap!

Sounds perfect for a visit to the Chiropracter! There is NO incurable disease remember. If in doubt use the 'Incurables Program' by Dr John Ray Christopher. - Craig Oxley

Well you could try this. Click the link and scroll down to the yellow chart and see what the vitalizer studies show.

This has many applications.
This website sells a bit cheaper here at 32% off (look at left scrolling box)

A group of people could chip in, or with a Doctor prescription this might be covered under insurance.
Very interesting device, I might just have to try this myself.
