Has anyone thought about this?

A religion, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, all require the followers to love their God, love is a powerful force, not to be used sparingly, most certainly not to be given to someone or something other than your partner, children, family, even the love of the God at the expense of your own physical existence on this planet. All three religions have sects and followers who would give the ultimate price to show their "love."

It is a trap, the love you show is a trojan horse, the religion you think you are following is nothing but a trick in order to steal your soul, rip your energy out from you, all that will be left will be an empty dead shell, the souls of millions, billions of people will voluntarily be given away, but to what? There will be no afterlife, the clues are there, individualism and free thought will dissolve into a "heaven" which means the astral version of a meat grinder.

The only hope is to snap out of the hypnotic trance and avert your eyes from the light of the oncoming monster of your own making, the end will not be happy, the past several thousand years of religious dogmatism and ideologies have indicated that the future will be like the past, but much worse.

At least, if you don't participate you may prevent yourself, your soul from being swallowed up, even if you can't stop others.

It's sad that you appear to only see darkness and twist love into a negative thing.

when a person is dedicated to a belief system, communism, democracy, facisim, islam, christianity or whatever often giving your life for that belief is better than giving up that belief. One a communist is forced to give up communism and live in a capitalist society or die, he must decide, if a Christian is forced to give up Christianity and live in a antichristian society or die, he has to make that choice.

would you give up your life for queen and country, i sure as hell wouldnt, but there is something out there that you must strongly believe in, where you would give up your life, if the new world order were to be implimented tomorrow, would you be willing to give up your life opposing them?

sometimes the end of a life in chains is heaven in itself

If there is no after life then Christians are to be the most pitied of all humanity.

if there is then its the other way around. :)

There is an afterlife, but you have to be who you are and not follow, not be a follower then you will receive an afterlife. If you get into the mincer you will become part of a homogeneous mass and lose your individuality and become lost, forever.

Sorry about this I just feel I should make my beliefs known and help those to help themselves because the only person who can help you is you yourself, don't rely on others. Before or after.

No problem man.

the apostle Paul said Follow me as I follow Christ. Jesus said follow me and I will make you fishers of men. I follow Jesus ( to the best of my feebil human ability) and I belive it is my responsibility to be a fisher of men. A wise man seeks to save souls.

I believe this is your intention aswell and thats cool. We just look at it differently. :) I would also choose death rather than renounce my faith, but I wont strap explosives to myself and blow myself and others up for not believing what I believe.

Throughout history ten million Christians have been martyred simply for not renouncing there faith. I belive everyone of them is in heaven. Some times we have to die in this life for the truth, yes it is a very drastic ultimate circimstance but there is no greater love than one lays his life down for a friend.

hey man I would give my life up to save my wife and child any day of the week, and I'm sure you would too. (I'd like it to be quick if at all possible, though)

PS - Im not part of or member of any organised religion either.

there are good and bad things in all forms of spiritual texts; that being said i tend to agree in part with the OP here.

Ghandi said something akin to "christianity is a great idea, christians should try it " Ghandi was cool. :D
