I know, and I'm trying.
This always happens lately though, when I forget my health is not kept up enough for alchohol.

That's my problem, I stopped drinking Friday, I'm 40 in a few days and I'm so unhealthy, plus with smoking and no physical exercise I feel a bit depressed,
I think I need some rest or a break to contemplate my future and I must try looking forward today... :)

Well done on stopping drinking. If you feel you need to stop then you have a problem with it. Stopping is the beginning.
How will you stay stopped? It's almost impossible to do so without support.
have you tried AA?
If we want to evolve spiritually and be of use to mankind then we have to get our own individual acts together. We have to refine ourselves.
First we stop doing stuff that is obviously detrimental to our health and sanity. One step at a time. As we clean up we are able to see more clearly the guidance. Synchronicity will also begin to work for you. You will be shown what to do.

I only drink sociably never on my own, I live amongst good people with bad habits, it's more of a culture of disillusionment I find myself,
I always tell myself that this needs to change but something is stopping me, I try to make others happy but these are just words covering my own cracks, I feel like an hypocrite
and you are correct about "health" It feels like my heart is being ignored and my life is being drained, I must seek guidance.

Congratulations on your new sobriety!!! :)
I can tell you first hand that the first few days can be really tough, but it gets easier after that. Also your mood should start to lift because alcohol is a depressant. I also believe that people under the influence are more open in attracting unwanted negative energies that can end up being a real bother.
But first things first don't try to do everything at once. The most important thing is that you plugged the jug. The rest will unfold as time goes on.

Thank you delamo :)
Drinking makes me feel rough for days and the flashbacks of embarrassing situations I generally put myself through hopefully will stop :)
