Don't rely on others. If you supect it report it.

Londoners are being asked to trust their instincts and report suspicious behaviour to help combat terrorist activity.

Just one piece of information could be vital in helping disrupt terrorist planning and, in turn, save lives.

This national publicity campaign across England and Wales raises awareness of the Anti-Terrorist Hotline and gives the public examples of suspicious activity and behaviour. The public are encouraged to trust their instincts and report anything confidentially to the Anti-Terrorist Hotline, where specialist officers will take their call.

This campaign utilises London specific media: radio and press, posters at tube and rail stations.
As part of the national campaign there will also be national press and national commercial radio advertising, large outdoor posters and advertising on the rears of buses. To ensure the campaign reaches minority communities, there will also be advertising in minority media press titles.

Press advertising will appear in national newspapers and on main commercial radio stations. In London, this includes the Evening Standard, Magic, Heart, Total LBC, Smooth and Capital FM.

The press ads seek to raise awareness of some of the items/activities which may be needed by, or be of use to, terrorists. It asks the public to consider whether they have seen any activity connected with them which may have made them suspicious.

Radio advertising has been devised to complement the press ads and reiterates how any piece of information could prove vital and asking the public to call the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321.

good find bobhodge!

...the guy running our 'neighbourhood watch' lives across the road from me and a woman [maybe a man in drag lol] from the other-end of the street physically pulled him out of his front door and annouced to the whole street...

"this is your friendly neighbourhood watch! he's nothing but a fucking grass for the police!"

we may even see more terrible crimes being reported like these...

We should seriously use this to report Blair, Bush, Brown, Obama and all the other illuminati puppets. This is serious on the grounds that they are coming into our country this weekend and they are terrorists!

The last time they all came we had 7/7. They love their symbolism. Can you imagine a false flag on Wednesday? April Fools day? You wont need a training exercise again as diversion method. 'oh it's just an April Fools Joke'.

Be careful on Wednesday my friends, especially if you in London like me. I have a bad feeling about all this...

Those pictures on the met website almost look like a joke, reporting chemical containers in a bin? COME ON FFS.

And they call conspiracy theorists paranoid...

Heed my warning.

They held me for 8 hours when I reported a suspect bag. That's how badly they want the publics help. They don't. They want your DNA on their illegal database, is what they want!

You reported a suspect bag and they held you - WHAT! :(

And what does that teach you brainfreeze? Not to bother doing that again... 8 hours of your time for doing the right thing and no thanks I bet!

Idiots! They're not even useful idiots!

Do not co-operate with the police in any way. They are not on our side.
See the video on the thread about the climate camp.

Well done again, Brainfreeze!

I had a custard doughnut in my hand when they put me in their panda car. It took all my will power NOT to wash the inside of the car with it :p

Around a week later I watched two heavys rob my neighbour, and did nothing, not even when she posted a note through my door asking for witnesses. Those blokes saw me watching, which is why they didn't take her/a car in the parking lot which they were trying to put onto a trailer! The police aint on my side.

More likely those chemicals would have been used in a cannabis grow room.

We used to sell fertilisers for tomato plants, I think we have been visited by the Scotland Yard Anti Terrorist Squad 4 times checking that we had not been selling any to Osama Bin Man (excuse the terrible pun).

I myself live in London and have been very troubled by these new posters everywhere urging us to be distrustful of each other. I am particularly concerned by the one that tells people to report anyone who is looking at the cameras. As if it is a normal state of affairs to have cameras everywhere and anyone who doesn't think so is a terrorist.

Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321. This is the nunmber that is supplied on the posters. I just phoned it and got a recording. This is what I said:

"Hello, bearing in mind that no other country in the world has anything like as many cameras as we have, isn't it very suspicous that our goverment has decided to place so many cameras everywhere?"

I think everyone should call this number and make a complaint.

Down here in kent there are adverts on the local radio that go something like:

"this is the sound of a bomb not going off. Weeks earlier the (whatever organisation it is) received a call that saved lives"...

It goes on:

"because a member of the public reported someone acting suspiciously and taking pictures of cctv cameras the (whoever) was able to stop the terrorists"

Basically freak out a lot and phone the hotline when you have forgotten how to think for yourself is my basic interpretation of this 1984-esque spy-kids propaganda.

EDIT: Ah I see you can listen for yourself here:- http://www.met.police.uk/campaigns/counter_terrorism/ctradio_2009.mp3

What a load of shit.

People are going to be reported for being Muslim in charge of a vehicle, or taking a photograph in a built up area, or eating outdoors during the hours of darkness.

When they start encouraging children to report suspicious behaviour of their parents is when we should really worry. Read 1984 folks.

Go on, get a copy from the library. Maybe you can find it online for free.

Here it is...... http://www.george-orwell.org/1984/index.html
