I am a newbie really when it comes to all this Freeman stuff. I found the John Harris talks on BBC5.tv (a fantastic site imao) and I'm excited to learn more on this subject.
One thing I've noticed is that he talks a bit about how a lot of modern law terminology comes from admiralty law. Could any kind folk offer me a good foundation source of info or web links to allow me to explore this 'law of the sea' link further?

Check these out to start with. I would suggest getting a very good dictionary, I use the Oxford concise 10th edition. You need to start finding the real meaning of words and where they came from!
