Skywatch network

Hi peeps.

I was wondering how many people out there are watching the skies.I`m in NW England and I`m considering setting up some kind of skywatch network.

The idea would be that we can plot our locations and create some kind of grid system where everything that happens in the sky would be logged.


Eventually, the idea would be to cover the entire uk skies with eyes that are open for a change.Maybe this could be done in other countries too.


This is only in the embryonic stages so I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Good idea. I have a look every day and check out any planes I hear. Doubt we'll get enough co-operation to do this and I only want to report as and when I see something. But if you do this... count me in for Powys.

The idea would be to collate evidence and make it public.
As public as possible.
We should have the ability to track stuff if we do it right.
