Baughman and his colleagues have produced a formulation that's stronger than steel, as light as air and more flexible than rubber — a truly 21st century muscle. It could be used to make artificial limbs, "smart" skins, shape-changing structures, ultra-strong robots and — in the immediate future — highly-efficient solar cells.
New technology that seems interesting. Potentially dangerous and potentially very helpfull.

I was onto nanotech years ago when even mentioning it got me weird looks because the term nanotech made me sound like im just stepped of the set of star wars got books from 1998 on it, but the thing is it would be futile to resist it as its going to happen regardless but scientists utterly lack wisdom they only have intellect so like the atom bomb just because they can make it doesn't mean they should make it thats wisdom and the same with nanotech there will be an endless list this time of potential applications but if it doesnt serve humanity it shouldnt be created thats the sort of wisdom us as co creators need to have now, as if we dont develop it soon we will destroy ourselves with technology.

Seems to me that we could have destroyed this planet during the cold war. I like to think there are guardian spirits or something that makes sure everything keeps being.
Also it seems that we have matured. Not as many nuclear weapons, and when is the last time they were used in war? Were they ever used more than one time? The worst problem was the tests with nuclear weapons after the first drop it seems.
I believe it will be the same with new technology, we or they will learn to set limits for it. And if they manage to create super soldiers with it, I dont think we will ever see them. It will most likely be some black ops kind of thing that only happens without our knowledge. I believe that they have been using advanced exoskeletons for some time, and have been perfecting them.
Seems now they dont have to make these exoskeletons as exo at all :P
