I'm a big a fan of The Forum as anybody... but I'll pop my head in here occasionally. Though i never looked at this place as a substitute... so my expectations might not have been as high.

Many feel the same way as Avatar. When it went down many came here , many went to illusions and a few drifted off to god knows where in some sort of limbo and few were satisfied.

This place could never be a substitute for that place.

Nobody expected it to come back, but it has and the pigeons are coming home to roost.

The two forums will share many members but will have very different styles - which is a good thing.

Me too for the time being. To be honest, I just don't have the hours in the day to spend time on other forums.....with all else going on in my life as well, this place keeps me quite busy busy!

Yes thats right, though I think Tsarion pushed Icke to abandon it because of copyright infringements. Spread the truth but only if theres a buck in it for me attitude.

Nope. It was Tsarion who complained about his copyright being breached, Icke asked Harris to sort it out becuase Icke would otherwise be potentially liable, Harris sat on his arse for a week and did nothing, THEN Icke took his name off it

Whatever that makes anyone thing about Tsarion, it was Harris's general attitude that led to Icke taking his name away

The old forum was not created by David Icke it was created by (Harris) and David then supported the site and put a link to it from his website... then turning it into the David icke forum...

After a year or so He then took the link away... not just because of his and other peoples matirial were gleefully being posted openly around his forum while being told it would get him in trouble and was out of order, but because he had enough of seeing him and his family constantly vurbaly abused on there and just genraly found it to be a negative place of which he no longer wanted to be apart of or support...

it was not even Davids idea to start this forum... It was his website admins who convinced him that if a new forum was modorated properly then it would be cool to have it.... this is why he is not very hands on here and just arranges to meet people here with a real interest through his premir subscribers meetings... or by posting his video casts to us.... so on..

the only link he has with the old forum now is it still uses his name in the URL address, which must be owned by Harris.

Like I say choice is great and if everything was the same then it would be dull.

I watched a video from a thread there yesterday that would have been perfect to insert into a thread on another forum today. Of course, searching YouTube came up empty. So maddening.

It's only a worry because so many people were suspicious about it's reopening and there were scads of threads on that very subject. Maybe they just said "well, fuck it!" and decided to shut it down for good.

well, one could surmise that TF was hacked and hosted somewhere dodgy, this could explain the lack of bandwidth, the only current till September 06, the 07/07/07 start up time and the lack of fanfare surrounding the re-opening.

I'm only guessing here, but if above theory was correct, I bet that it was hosted on a hacked server and was found out and dumped.
