Hi ppl,
I have made the decision to get rid of my one filling.
I had it done when I was 14 and soon after became ill with tummy constant upsets. After a year or so I got terrible joint pain and could hardly walk and my hair began to fall out. I lost tons of weight and had no energy and have not been well since this time (I'm 38 now).
It was only recently I learnt these are all symptoms of mercury poisoning.
I hear the procedure is tricky and you really need to find an experienced dentist. Does anyone know of one in the Hull/East Yorkshire area? Or a good way of finding one?
Oh, and I was one of the 100 or so who voted for David in the election last summer :)
Saw him for the first time too at his address. Him speaking 20 mins from my home seemed totally surreal.

Matt.

There is this one that does amalgam removal in Leeds, following the protocol.

Hm, thatnks for the link! They look good. Very thorough with a lot of pre-treatment prep. Damn though, I wish it were just a case of pulling the damn thing out.
I wish I could find someone in Hull too as that's a long way to go really. Might be my only option though and it will be worth it if I can start to feel better again after all these years.
