Not sure how other reviews are going, but I like the title of this one from Times Online :)

It did what it said on the poster – but no more. The British leg of Live Earth started at 1.30 pm sharp with a thunderous five-minute drum fanfare by a 20-odd troupe of flailing percussionists, battering a miscellany of ethnic skinned instruments

LOL, suprise suprise!! what a waste of everyones time and money- they could have put all that effort into either raising awareness (not via a ridiculous concert) or put it straight into this tax fund they are planning on starting!! dicks!!

as usual- too much money- no sense- those two seem to go hand in hand!!

Did you see Madonna's performance?

How does a loopy sexually frustrated super star rubbing herself all over the stage and her fellow performers save the world exactly?

It was funny when she fell over a few times though.. but sheeeeeshh... I guess it's just as well she is a famous celebrity otherwise we might run the risk of actually meeting the nutter... imagine that as a girl friend (seen the look on Guy Richie's face lately? Poor guy)

I don't know a single person who watched any of it. What a flop. People are sick of having this environmental shit shoved down their throats.

The hypocrisy is breath-taking...

Live Earth is promoting green to save the planet - what planet are they on?

People aren't the issue here, we don't need to be telling the people, the people KNOW. We need to tell the government and the manufacturers. But we (at least here in the states) live in a world that we can be informed of at least half of the truth and not even really care. I bet affter bush is out that the 9-11 truth might come out, but by then it won't really make any difference. Fascism will still go on.

p.s. It's not shit, it's the single most important thing that is going on here, because the way industrialism is shaping the earth, it is ensuring that at least half of humanity is gonna be shit out of luck in ten years. There are ten years at the maximum to prevent global warming from completly altering tah plannet. No, I shouldn't be sarcastic, it's allready too late. Unless anyone actualy does change for the better, but even then china is deffinatly not going to change (most likely) so either were fucked or war with china or essentialy were fucked. Hey it's the biggest problem. Hey I allready said that.

p.p.s. You know what is really funny, that people are more interested in Madonna falling down than global warming. Know what's even more funny? People are actualy interested in Madonna. This kind of celebrity bullshit makes me want to do that Indian face piercing crap. YOu know, just sticking really big needles into my cheek in and out.

Its damn good being on a forum like this where you can actually discuss these things without being dismissed. :)

I fear this too, time is of the essence. It sure is a biggie to open minds though, I think the truth is spreading faster than it ever has before. Thanks to the hero's over the years and all the little things that we like minded people do.

I believe we are going through a perfectly natural cycle regarding the sun/planet.

What does worry me about the future of the planet are things like Depleted Uranium, Chemtrails, the poisoning of the seas, dissapearing bees, bomb testing, wierd deadly diseases that appear out of knowhere, genetic modification of our food supply, flouride in the water, false flag terror attacks and the never ending war mongering.

We have to stop blaming ourselves, we've been cdnditioned to do so by the same people responsible for the above crimes against humanity.

i try to stay away from the t.v. etc. but it is not completely irrelevant what madonna does........ some of us think that certain celebrities are illuminati puppets. madonna is an obvious example.

if global warming is as gore et al. says it is then we are screwed and this concert is completely pointless. if we all start riding bicycles, etc. from this point forward (which will never f-ing happen and india and china are exploding and upping their use of oil, etc.) it would still not set things right.

i personally think that the biggest threat to humanity is monsanto and its impact on our food supply. now this is what we need to raise awareness about and take action.

UFOTV News - Bad Seed - The Dangerous Truth About Our Foods - YouTube

check it out for yourself......... funny there are no concerts to raise awareness about this.

It made me laugh when that bloke said "motherfucker" on stage, forcing an apology from the BBC. Bollocks! They were waiting for a scandal! Didn't work though.
:D
