I thought this link is really interesting in terms of how a surveillence society is still subject to the laws of physics:

Basically, our big brother society is actually very energy intensive - it requires an awful lot of continued energy to advance new surveillence technologies and to keep all these various BB networks going. If we're entering a time in which energy (electricity, natural gas, oil) is going to be harder to obtain, then it too will be susceptible to laws of diminishing returns. I'd be interested in your thoughts.

Very interesting. My guess is they have enough fuel and back-up supplies to easily help them de-populate the world by 6 billion in the next 50 years.
Plus all the hidden technology they have up their sleeves will help with the NWO agenda.
I think they want a 1984/Road Warrior type world from 2012 to as longs as it takes for them to get the population down to 500 million.

Interesting, most surely energy has become very important ,world wide,
G-8 wide.
Sometimes I wonder how their children will get along with them?
mixed feelings? There are many people who are succesful Bankers, and his daughter and son are more interested in Art, and astrology, and although they love "daddy" ,they feel he understands nothing of life,
and he feels they understand nothing. Will there be a generation gap with them?
Going back to the energy ,there are lot of alternative energy, they are not using it, because they don't want their bu$$ine$$ self-competition.
But we know, there is lot of better energy, much cheaper, many things that could replace the use of oil, plates on the roof that create electricity free with the sun, and lots that will be shown when they have no other alternative than to do so ,there are many things to replace one energy that can be made with different elements. But we are being fooled by TV ,
that it is the end of it all, it isn't, they are just taking care of that business, will continue with a cheaper one when there is no choice.
The USA Oil companies have made a lot of money ,will they want to lose those profits? They are private corporations

The surveillence also needs a network. We have an electricity grid. Media antennas, mobile phone masts. When a modern day war starts they attack the communications network first. This is what I'd do in the reverse situation also, target those things I mention above. In no time flat they'd be scuppered network and surveillence wise. Unless they have methods to deal with this threat. Imagine how screwed they'd become if we took out the Satellites, tossed iron bars into electric sub stations, or spray painted every last CCTV we could find and foam filled the buggers. We would surely wipe out their advantage nearly overnight. So what am I missing here?
