flip side

I'm getting off my lazy ass and I'm going to visit my local MP in his open surgery to suss out his stance on the EU, give him some information I've collected through http://www.eutruth.org.uk/ and other such sources and see what happens. I've been doing lots of reasearch and I really feel we all need to be doing something about what I see as the forthcoming EU dictatorship.
I've never done anything like this before so I'm a bit apprehensive I might balls it up but nothing ventured nothing gained :)
I was thinking of using a couple of bits of evidence from the Bill of Rights and Treason Acts. Any advice if I should be going down this route? For instance: In the Bill of Rights Act of 1689 it states:
I, A.B., do swear that I do from my heart abhor, detest and abjure as impious and heretical this damnable doctrine and position, that princes excommunicated or deprived by the Pope or any authority of the see of Rome may be deposed or murdered by their subjects or any other whatsoever. And I do declare that no foreign prince, person, prelate, state or potentate hath or ought to have any jurisdiction, power, superiority, pre-eminence or authority, ecclesiastical or spiritual, within this realm. So help me God.
In my eyes that's direct evidence that the proposed EU Union is directly against our Bill of Rights. Am I correct in thinking this Act still holds weight today? I haven't seen anything that would suggest otherwise? Then again this information is all very new to me so maybe keep it simple?! :p
Any other tips on what to say etc would be more than appreciated.
Peace.

ps. he's conservative and from his website he seems pro europe
