I seem to notice 1 some times 2 odd stars that don`t look right. They seem brighter than they should and are seen well before other ones also seem to flicker strangely.
I saw one tonight early on and it was also still dusk...after 1hour still could not see any other star?
has anyone notice similar?

You're describing Planets. I think.

Venus
Just look low into the west after sunset and that fantastic 'star' will be the planet Venus. It's a very bright magnitude -4.4, which makes it unmistakable in the sky. Catch it while you can, however, as Venus will have vanished into the Sun's glare by the end of the month. On the 1st and 2nd Venus skims only about one degree below the fainter planet Saturn. An event when two or more astronomical objects are close such as this is known as a conjunction. If you watch a few days either side of this event you can easily see the movements of some of the planets in the sky. On the 7th, you'll see bright Venus sitting between Saturn (to its right) and Regulus, the leading star of Leo, the Lion (to the left). The Moon joins in on the act on the 16th and 17th making for a fine conjunction of four objects but very low down in the west at around 9.30pm - time to get out the camera. This is really at the very end of a great evening performance that Venus has put on over the last few months, and when it reappears again it'll be in the morning skies.

Saturn
Saturn is low in the west after sunset and during the long summer twilight sitting in Leo, the Lion. Details of some fine conjunctions involving our ringed world can be found in the notes for Venus. Watch Saturn while you can, as the Sun is closing in on the planet and it too, like Venus, will be unobservable by the end of the month. The two day-old waxing crescent Moon sits to the lower-right of Saturn on the evening of the 16th to help us locate it.

Some ETs impersonate stars, seen what you think is a star, then it starts to move away from it's position!.............

yes DECA ive been doing alot of night time biking latetly on my mountain bike. tis a flash one two. now im in the darkenss looking at all these weird starts/planets. they never looked so different that around now.

lots of them are in lines. and 3 in a row. go for one more connect 4.

also like you say. heaps of them point to places or houses. one set of them was pointing directly towards the destination. like right above her house about 2 km's away. hehe it was cool. also ill be biking along in the freezing cold still air. really clean cold air. and i just get this feeling somethings watching me. so i turn around exactly to the point i feel teh eyes from and im looking at this big singular star/planet glowing twinkling more hardout than i ever noticed. just keep spotting them out the corners of my eyes and shit

Cor leonis

Regulus, or the Cor Leonis, the Heart of the Lion, is a triple star, the brightest in the constellation Leo. The English astrologer William Lilly says that Regulus, "...a Star of great vertue and influence" and one that, "...shews the Native to be magnanimous, that he is of generous and civill condition, desires to beare rule, or is ambitious of dominion over others."
interesting then that they chose now 07-07-07 to do the live earth gig with madonna a leo as one of the major artists there, madonna saving the world ? Of course the sign of leo is the regal sign and a time when rulers celebrate their unofficial birthdays , the lion kings :D

deca, I'm with you on the night sky not being right. I've noticed this more and more over the last few years. Now is this a change of consciousness on our part? Is this the breaking down of the matrix? Are we in the process of a pole shift so things look different? I'm sure there is a logical answer but I don't have it. Sometimes I get scared just looking at the night sky things are so different now. I would even say there seems to be more observers up there.
