Donaldson to press on with booze plan

The Chief Medical Officer says he will continue to push for a minimum price on alcohol despite Gordon Brown rejecting his proposals.

Gordon Brown has probably already 'accepted' it, despite the formal rejection of the proposal to prevent an almight riot against downing street :p. It's usually what they do. A few months down the line when nobody is watching and they have got the infrastructure set up and ready to go to impliment this, they'll announce they're going ahead from tommorow. By then nobody will be able to stop it.
