Lately I have been waking up in the early hours, and somehow it's like I'm in a different place, it sort of looks like my bedroom but isn't? Am I shifting slightly to the next frequency?

Explain what you see.

Sounds like a lucid dream of some sort. Maybe you are waking up from your dreams. Sometimes this can happen when you wake up, everything will look normal in your room except you might have 2 TVs or a door will be in a different position?
Or is it something else

Explain what you see.
Well, sometimes the door isn't where it usually is, but other times the room just isn't right, hard to explain, feels like I'm somewhere else!?

Could be logic, but I don't remember having a dream before it!?

Doesn't matter mate. You are experiencing the 4th density consciously. The astral if you like.
Next time it happens "will" yourself up. Even better jump out the window, though make sure you are actually in the astral before you do this LOL. You can test this by pulling one of your fingers, if it stretches slightly then you are removed from 3rd density.
You can also maintain the time spent there by increasing your 4D energy by spinning on the spot like a vortex. I think CW but test it for yourself. Another thing you can do is find the anomaly, say the door, you can then use that as a portal but thats getting advanced and you may be easily tricked.
Does it feel good? It always used to make me ecstatic.

Yes, MAKE SURE YOU'RE AWAKE! :p
We don't want another "young man on acid thought he could fly" news story!

A book I've posted many times before:
Robert Peterson - Out of Body Experiences.pdf (http://www.badongo.net/file/2727476)
Spend a few days reading it, then try the techniques mentioned. You'll be amazed! :)

I have been trying to astral fly every night, as I get in to bed that's the last thing I think about, so could be getting closer, yesss!!:D
I will have to will myself up next time it happens, but it's good it's happening regularly of late.:)
The feeling I get when it happens is one of slight uneasiness, not really knowing where the fook I am!LOL
The spinning vortex, well I think I do that every night as well, the feeling is that I am spinning in my head all over the place. Last night I maintained it for longer than I usually can, so progress is being made!...........:)

What techniques are you using? I've been trying to control my dreams for a while.

The only technique I am using is the head spinning thing and willing my consciousness to break free when I am asleep, albeit so I know and feel I am free!:)
