Organic seeds for quality and health. Despite claims of GM seeds and large yields, reality is lower yields, lower quality, as Indian farmers can testify to with failing crops of GM seeds.

Then next year save your own seed. Some GM seeds have a terminator gene that prevents seed harvesting each succesive year, alledgedly.

Cut and come again (http://www.rhs.org.uk/Advice/profiles0602/cut_vegetables.asp) salads are a good place to start.

Try Parmex Carrots in pots too.

I have no land to grow on. So I was looking to perhaps store some for a rainy day. How long do seeds tend to stay good for if stored dry and cool?
