Listened to part 1, good stuff, can understand very clearly all this about the ego.
Just a little example, went to the post office today was served by a lady I had never seen before (not as friendly as the others I have been served by)
I said "You are new here aren`t you?"
She replied, " I`m the manager", who then explained she was helping out at the counter, then went on to work out how long she had been at the post office, just over a year.
Was I meant to be impressed that she was the manager, back to what John Harris said, all about status, she was telling me her status when I didn`t even ask about it. So pathetic this ego stuff:(
