Anyone got an iPhone?

We don't get the iPhone to Sweden until much later this year. I was curious to know if someone has bought one yet.

I don't think its out over here yet.... the thing is , as far as i can see its just a phone that is made by apple and has a fancy screen....

Apple sure know how to tempt people with the scared fruit :)

If anyone has one i'd be interested to know what features it has. I know, i could check it out on the website but i want hands on users thoughts. Like what makes it more special than any other good mobile phone. I know the screen can rotate to have a widescreen look but so can one of those palm thingys. My mates got one and it does that.

My mobile phone doesn't do that but it plays 3gp movies, mp3's, has a 1.3 mp camera, takes videos, does 3G video calling etc. With the 1gb memory card i have in it i have an audio book called "Sailing around the world" by Joshua Slocum, also Dan Browns "Digital Fortress" as an audio book, approx 150 songs, and a heap of pictures & videos that I've taken using the camera on board and the memory cards probably just over half full.

These iphones would have to be pretty cool to make me want to up grade from the phone i have now. Even though its getting old it still does everything i need.

I've got a SPV m3100 (400Mhz processor!)and its shit hot had it since jan, it will do everything the iphone will do and you can get a small program that will make the GUI look exacly like the iphone, but has the advantage of having ms word and media player, pdf viewer, qwerty keyboar touchscreen etc etc.

That's what I was thinking about. What does a real user say about it. There are several ads showing features, but for example, how good is the Internet access in practice.

Thats a nice looking device. What do they classify it as?. I mean, Is it a palm/ phone/ pocket pc etc?
Whats it like using a keyboard that small?

My mates one was similar but older and i must say that it had potential to be a great little device. The problem with his one was it didn't support mp4 videos only wmv and the cameras resolution was still to small. Only 640x480. You really need a 3 mp camera so that you can print out decent 6x4 photos if you want.
There was a couple of other small things i didn't like but as i said it was an older model and i'd say the new range would have it all.

Cellphones suck, and they fuck you up, and they suck. But above all they are for Galiens. The iphone creates the illusion of progress --the phuture is now kind of thing-- when in reality everything is really going downhill, and I'd sooner shove iphone up my ass than use it.
