Yes, what a great idea!! Thanx for posting unusual_suspect The allotment wait IS lengthy now, as interest in gardening is really high at the moment. If unused space can be used productively, then that is a fab idea. I don't have a garden, but looking forward to when I do. I sprout seeds indoors and some herbs and wheatgrass. Gonna try chillies soon, they can be grown indoors. It's really exciting growing your own and anyone who has a garden is very fortunate.

No probs my lovely, people are always saying "what can we do?" well there's something that is very practical.

My boyfriend grew some chillies last year on his window sill - they were fab, mine died, I reckon he used his special reiki powers on them lol :D

Seriously, I think mine died of spider mite, so you might want to keep an eye on that ;)

I'm moving in 2 weeks, but I'm going to get in touch with that geeza when I have moved, a gardening network community would be cool, to swap tips, cuttings etc.
