Yet more on the Mexican "Flying Humanoid"

I've posted on this before but the earlier videos I've seen had narration in
Spanish. This one has English subtitles and gives more information.

I think this "humanoid" may be the basis for the flying witch folklore, even down
to the pointed hat and flying "broom."

Like many accounts of "underworld" creatures, this one involved a sighting
near a mountain and involves possible attempted human abduction (attacked
policeman) and interest in human genetic material (the bit about the graveyard).

Incidents like this have been reported for hundreds of years or more and are
part of of the folklore concerning subterranean worlds and beings.

Don't get me wrong, it might well be something a little less mundane than a creative hoax - but its a good idea to remain as objective as possible rather than to make huge leaps with so little info at hand. There's nothing like an ill-considered emotional reaction to fuel the innevitable accusations of 'loony paranoid conspiracy theorist'

I guess my point is this - one short piece of grainy video does not make a particularly watertight case either way.

I'm not dismissing all of the sightings but this video offers a very plausible explanation for at least some of them. I would not be surprised if the US military was conducting tests in Mexico.

Remember when an alleged UFO crashed in Mexico? The US watched it on radar the whole time. The US called Mexico and asked if they could assist, Mexico said thanks but no thanks. The US went into Mexico anyway and confiscated the crashed UFO material.

When they arrived at the crash site, they discovered all Mexican soldiers at the scene were dead. The US loaded up the UFO booty and left.

That's an assumption that can be easily made - I did when I saw the story dramatized on a UFO enthusiast's program - but as the story is told the US soldiers came upon already dead Mexican soldiers.

Here is part of the story and a link to the full story. I bolded a few sentences and I must apologize for my forgetfulness as it's been a little while since I saw the program: Evidence clearly showed the Mexican soldiers had already loaded the UFO material and was in the process of transporting it but when the US soldiers came upon the truck(s) the vehicles were stopped and the soldiers dead.

With daylight the next day, Mexican authorities began a search for the missing plane. At Approximately 10:35 hours, there came a radio report that wreckage from the missing plane had been spotted from the air. Almost immediately came a report of a second plane on the ground a few miles from the first. A few minutes later an additional report stated that the second "plane" was circular shaped and apparently in one piece although damaged. A few minutes after that the Mexican military clamped a radio silence on all search efforts.

The radio interceptions were reported through channels to the CIA. Possibly as many as two additional government agencies also received reports, but such has not been confirmed as of this date. The CIA immediately began forming a recovery team. The speed with which this team and its equipment was assembled suggests that this was either a well-rehearsed exercise or one that had been performed prior to this event.

In the meantime, requests were initiated at the highest levels between the United States and Mexican governments that the US recovery team be allowed onto Mexican territory to "assist." These requests were met with professed ignorance and a flat refusal of any cooperation.

By 21:00 hrs, 26 Aug 1974, the recovery team had assembled and been staged at Fort Bliss. Several helicopters were flown in from some unknown source and assembled in a secured area. These helicopters were painted a neutral sand color and bore no markings. Eye witness indicates that there were three smaller craft, very probably UHl Hueys from the description. There was also a larger helicopter, possibly a Sea Stallion. Personnel from this team remained with their craft and had no contact with other Ft. Bliss personnel.
