Just wondered what you all thought about past lives?
I reckon I've had one that seems to be connected to war, maybe WWII. When I watch anything to do with WWII, I feel very emotionally connected.
I also have a fear of loud bangs, can't stand fireworks! Thunder & lightening scares the shit out of me, a very deep routed fear....... Maybe these fears are connected to past lives?.........

Hmm interesting. If I had a past life I feel I would've been a musician of some sort. Ever since I can remember (actually one of the first memories of mine is wishing to become a rock star :P) I've always wanted to be a musician. And I kept the dream strong up 'til this day. Every time I'd listen to music I'd have deep visuals and intuitive feelings of what it's like on stage, and to play. I took to guitar naturally at 8-9 and exceeded everyone I knew by miles, felt natural...

i see past lives as a possibility,
but think it's more likely that the memories often accessed by individuals
and recognized as past lives... are actually memories stored inside the DNA and not inside "the soul"...

so the memories of pastlives are real, but it is not "you" who has lived these moments in history...
but your grandmother, grandfather, great grandfather... etc.

because we experience the memories first-person,
we think they belong to us... but they don't.

this is just what in my mind seems more likely.
i try my best not to believe my mind's theories and not the theories by someone else's mind...
in order not to fool myself with another belief in something unreal.

Thats interesting lightbeing, I do not have the same fears you metioned (although I do have a tendencey to jump outta my skin when I hear an unexpected loud noise) but I have the exact same feeling when I watch any WWII documentaries or movies.

I am not particulart interested in WWII (no more than the next bloke) but I do find myself flicking to the history channel and getting dissapointed if there isnt one on.

I went to a medium about 6months ago and she metioned that I had been here many times before, she didnt metion in what context but I'm very intriged to see if WWII would be mentioned.

Have you ever thought of trying the past life regression thing that some hypnotists can preform.

I might begin to look into it seriously, I have never told anyone about the WWII thing before, not because I am afraid to or anything I just have never really thought it to be that significant, just in touch with what happened back then, but hearing you say the same thing has made me think about it. Ohhh im intrigued.

Maybe me and you used to jam guitar in a previous incarnation. Or some old medieval stringed instrument. I used to have this romantic kind of vision I was a travelling minstrel on a horse lol. :D Entertaining people where ever I wen't with my magical lute.

I'm not dispelling you're theory, it is possible. But heres another theory.......If you're grandparents or parents fought in the War and where in the midst of battle.... you can inherit some personality traits(for want of better words) through genetics.
A bit like shell shock or a reaction like yours to loud bangs etc.

Good point eternal spirit, my grandad served in the tank regiment, he used to hate any loud noise, could explain my loud noise fear................

What if some "past lives" are actually "future lives"? If time doesn't exist and therefore not sequential then it seems perfectly possible that, for example, people who feel some sort of connection to sci-fi stuff and space had a "past" life with advanced technology and therefore this is a "future" life of living in this time frame for whatever reason we chose to be here, even though from a time perspective the "past" life took place in our percieved "future".

I mean there's no rule to say that our lives began at day dot and carry on 'till the end in a sequential order, is there?

I hope that makes some sense.

It sure does, good way to look at it, from the other way round, hmm............
