Is it me or is there a growing pattern of children being allowed to come to harm and them being criminalised, whilst the criminals are treated leniently as well as parents too putting their children at risk and are not being questioned for their conduct?
I feel like I am seeing a pattern and looking at the news each day, and today's latest story it appears to be a growing trend.
There also seems to be a lot of girls in these cases too. In the recent case...
Girl killer's earlier rape charge. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yorkshire/6264340.stm) A man jailed for life for the rape and murder of his two-year-old niece was charged with raping a 12-year-old girl four years ago, it has emerged.
In the case of the McCanns they left their very young children unsupervised. They received a lot of support from parents who stated they would've done the same thing in their position. Am I the only one who find this type of parenting questionable?
Children's charities have reacted with anger after a window cleaner who raped a 10-year-old girl was jailed for two years.
The reason? 10 year old rape victim "dressed provactively".
Then this:
“All girls aged between 12 and 13 in the UK should be vaccinated against the virus that causes cervical cancer, a government panel has recommended.”

I am sure there are many more examples, but overall this just smacks of wrong.
