. Big Brother is now the people around you. It's not near where I live but I'm sure they'll try push it to other areas in the UK. The Council Tax rises are partly to do with the Police shouldn't they be paying some undercover plain clothed style police to watch out for susspected criminals vehichles, or some good old fashioned policing ...Pull over MR we are the Police blah Guess there to busy watching CCTV.

In South Africa they have what we call 'car guards' who 'watch' your car while you shop - they watch your every move - in the shops - CCtv cameras - then more cameras on the highways - wherever you go these days you are NEVER alone - and I don't mean that in a good way.

Simply horrible. First they pump the public with fear through mainstream media, and then they want the public to report 'suspicious' vehicles. Will they stop there? What about 'suspicious' neighbours? And 'suspicious' people at work, and even 'suspicious' friends and family members. Paranoia run amuck.

Same thing on public transport. I was on the London Underground last Saturday and the report unattended baggage signs are accompanied by 'also report suspicious behaviour'. Given the media panic all over the place the fear of the stampeding sheep you could be suspicious just for scratching your arse.
