Powergen have scrapped Bob from their advertizing and sponsorship! :(

I was getting rather fond of that charismatic old hippy. What a shame that they abolish entertaining ads like his and leave us with "Coke- the real thing" I've truly lost a friend today. no more "Positive energy". :(:(

I actually got a phonecall from Powergen yesterday! A lady called and explained that the company has just been aquired by a conglomerate called "E-ON" in a takeover and they're being rebranded:rolleyes:, but she's going to pass on my comments to the marketing dept. I said that I felt like I'd lost a friend and that Bob should be given a TV series, or even a movie! It wouldn't be the first time: Sarah Crowe and the other of the Phildadephia girl got to star in their own comedy and Rowan Atkinson's Barclaycard character was made into the film "Johnny English".

I bet the customers' bills will go up to pay for all this flannel! I know what I'd really like to see: Bob using a cloudbuster or Schauberger turbine! That would be truly "positive energy".

Maybe this is one of the reasons they got rid of him. The viewers were starting to think along those lines. They've replaced Bob with some outrageously perfect family with teeth that make the Osmonds' look bad who dive off diving boards in that healthy, sophisticated, suburban, body-perfect "we think fossils fuels are great and we're living proof" way. :mad:
