Not really surprising. The US and UK are among the countries who by refusal to sign the Treaty are in fact implying that it's okay to snatch citizens and fly them off for torture somewhere. Looks like France is the place to be.

"Many other Western nations, including Germany, Spain, Britain and Italy, also did not sign the treaty. France introduced the convention at the U.N. General Assembly in November and it was adopted in December." the story is here (http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/wire/sns-ap-france-un-disappeared,0,7485425.story?coll=sns-ap-nationworld-headlines)

Reminds me of the Richard Branson thread, where he is offering his staff cheap holidays, anywhere near Guantanamo Bay by any chance? :D

Doesn't matter whether they sign or not, people have already been sent for interrogation & never seen again, incl. many Brittish Muslims who receive no compensation for being held for up to 3 years... torture is also available at no extra cost. UN = communist agenda for NWO so I wouldn't trust their documents anymore than I would a doctor's prescription!
