I started Channeling Being in 1979.
How it came about, was that I started developing trance mediumship when attending a closed circle in Wimbledon south London. When this group came to an end, myself and two friends would come together and sit for meditations every week or whenever we were all free to meet. After each meditation I would sit for trance to see if anybody wished to show themselves through transfiguration or wish to share wisdom. The process evolved over the weeks to sprit guides coming through me and talking to my two friends, who had both sat in circle before.
At one of our meetings we sat in my front room had the usual meditation and a large electrical storm started, I sat to see if the guides would come through, with the storm lighting up the front room. As I returned to consciousness the atmosphere had become charged the atmosphere was so charged (ting gelling you could cut it with a knife). As I became more conscious and in my body I saw extowplasium for the first time, it was hanging in waves of clouds across the room. It was very weird and appeared as a thick spongy fog. My two friends had their hair standing on end and looked as if they were in shock. I knew I had been taken over by something very powerful, but it seemed void of form. This amount of energy was too much for us to take in. After a long discussion we agreed that the only way to find out what this powerful energy was, was to ask our guides to surround us in light and then to have enough faith in ourselves to continue, so to find out what it was. We all decided that although very powerful there was no feelings of anything dodgy connected with it only feelings of upliftment.
We all agreed to go for it and carry on over the next few sessions. The next time we sat my healing guide came through who appears as an Egyptian priest. It seemed that he was helping to focus the energy and gradually the energy built to begin to show the form of an Egyptian Phearo. As this all developed over the next session there appeared two other spirits that were kneeling to the right of the Pharaoh. They would present their hands outstretched holding an inscribed box, the Pharaoh would begin to take me over and begin a vibration on my right leg. He would once in my body reach out to the box and open it and take out a beard that he would position on the chin it was attached to the ears. I was later to find that this acted as an external voice box. As the spirit began to speak and take more control of me he would use the term 'BEING' when addressing others. My two friends began to then refer to him as Being.
As we continued each week they wanted to invite other friends. We agreed that we would start another group meeting each week this developed into a group of 7 friends. This was just manageable until they wanted to invite all their friends and they wanted to then invite their friends. I found I had no time of my own and it was a bit much after a few years. People would come and take the place over, they would record each session and then want to go through the tape afterwards. After drinking me dry of tea and coffee and eating all my mums home made cakes. I would find I was going to bed each night in the early hours after clearing up all the mess.
After another meeting it was decided to carry on with the closed circle once a week and the group of 7 each fortnight with an open group each month around some of the others places.
The sessions would later take on a more 'as and when' form. I began to find this better.
