View Full Version : Seen a UFO!

Sunday morning (22 Feb) when the sun was rising and I was coming back from the paper shop, I noticed there were strange looking clouds in the sky. As I was looking at these unusual clouds, I noticed a stationary cylinder shaped object in a clear part of the sky and I was trying to figure out what it was.
Sunlight was shining on it and I could see that it wasn't a helicopter because it was the wrong shape. There was no sound except the from the wind and pigeons which were scared several times for no reason I could see.
What with the clouds, the pigeons acting strangely and that thing in the sky it was surreal. Then a cloud went under the object, which made me realise that it was high up and much larger than a plane!
I hurried home (one minute away) and got my camera, in the hope that the cloud would clear again so I could take a picture. I went back to take my picture and that part of the sky was clear again but the object had gone!
Below is what I saw but this picture was taken in the US
http://www.nationalufocenter.com/artman/uploads/azwebpheonix15feb09_400pixjpg.jpg
Note this object is similar to cylinder filmed over the Uk. http://www.nationalufocenter.com/artman/publish/article_264.php

Congrats tjohn. Try to spend a few minutes lookin at the sky from here on out.
After the first sighting, there are always more. That was my experience, at least. I know to this day if I feel like it I can spend a few hours a week and will probably see something. The veil of doubt has been removed... whereas if you have never seen a UFO the veil is constantly their.
Yours has been removed! So congrats.
One of my UFO's was similar to yours, a big cylinder object high high in the sky, over the clouds. Noticed it one minute, shrugged, walked away. Came back to see it again and it was gone.

Where can I see a UFO?
Better question would be 'when'? :) Depends how much time you're willing to spend sky-gazing. Most people just 'get lucky'.
I know for one that I live near a mountain range which is high in electromagnetic activity. Paranormal phenomena is common here.
Other such areas exist and are likewise hotspots for UFO activity. That would be a start to the 'where' question.

wow this is interesting because me and my father both witnessed what you have described from our back garden of all places. Like you say it was very high, above cloud level but still visible with the naked eye so must have been quite big in size.
It basically looked like a silver passenger jet airplane fuselage but with no wings, tail or anything just a cylinder plus it was slowly rotating around its axis. I went inside to get some binoculars and when i came out it had gone my dad said 'it had moved so fast he couldn't follow it with his eyes and lost all sight of it.

Some observed UFOs—as you call them—belong to us, but most not. Most of the "mysterious" flying objects in the sky are not technological devices but mainly misinterpretations of natural phenomena your scientists have not understand (like spontaneous plasma flares in the high atmosphere). Nevertheless, some UFOs are real craft belonging either to your own species (especially to your military) or to other alien species or at last to us (but a minority of sighted craft belongs really to us, because we are generally very careful with our movements in the atmosphere and we have special ways to hide our ships). If you read a report about a sighting of a metalish bright-gray cigar-shaped cylindrical object with a lenght of—there are different types—let me say between 20 and 260 of your metres and if this object had made a very deep humming sound and if there were 5 bright red lights on the metalish surface of the cigar (one at the top, one in the middle, two at the end) then it's likely that someone of you have seen one of our ships and this means that it was either partly defect or that someone of us was not careful enough. We have also a very small fleet of disc-shaped craft, but such UFOs belong usually to an alien species. Triangular UFOs belong generally to your own military but they use foreign technology to build them. If you really want to try to see one of our craft, you should have a look at the skies over the Arctic, the Antarctic and over Inner Asia (especially over the mountains there).
We have two major symbols representing our species. One (the more ancient) symbol is a blue serpent with four white wings on a black background (the colours have religious meanings for us). This symbol was used from certain parts of my society, but it is today very seldom—you humans have copied it very often in your old writings. The other symbol is a mystic being you would call a "Dragon" in the shape of a circle with seven white stars in the middle. This symbol is much more common today. If you see one of that symbols on a cylindrical craft I've described in my previous answer or on some underground installation, this thing or place belongs definetely to us (and I would advise you to go away from there as soon as possible).

Yeah, I'd second that. The only reason people don't see them more is they're very rarely outside these days.

Also, alot of people see UFO's and shrug them off . Even when the UFO performs impossible maneuevers or behaves strangely. I think most people have seen UFO's but give it no consideration because it puts stress on their reality or they don't feel they will ever be able to tell anyone else.

Also true. Some people don't like asking themselves the big questions.
I used to scan the night skies with my naked eye as a teenager looking but never saw one. I saw something bright moving quite high up at a constant speed and in a straight line. My grandfather told me it was a satellite. Made sense but very disappointing.
My grandfather was an amateur astronomer and a professional engineer; he watched the night skies for many years with a telescope at home and sometimes had the privilege of using a friend's telescope at one of the observatories in Arizona - those giant ones you see in documentaries - after he moved there. He never saw a UFO. He only saw satellites and the occasional shooting star.

It could depend on where you are...there's a lot of weird shit happen round here.
It's strange, i always wanted to see a ufo; then after i did i completely lost interest in the whole thing. It's just surfacing again now. I suppose I just thought that my question had been answered.
I recall when I was young I asked my grandfather if he had ever seen a UFO during any of his observations. He kinda smiled and tilted his head and said he has seen some interesting celestial bodies but they were most certainly stars, comets, etc.
I respect my grandfather but I also remember he was a man of science, fact, the tangible, and explainable. I wonder if he may have seen saw a body that didn't behave in a usual manner causing him to tilt his head and smile in that strange, uncomfortable manner one does when one is unsure how to answer and wishes to be careful so not to mislead.
He followed up his answer by stating there are many thing we yet do not know about the universe.

I have encountered UFOS many many times, ignorant, close minded stupid people who
'dont believe in them'!! For me its like not believing cars dont exists for an example.
I have seen three UFO´s fly together in formation in the upper atmosphere along with massive amounts of them flying by them selfs making extraordinary moves and twists. I live in Iceland and the sky here gets pretty damn clear in the winter time and you can see layers and layers of stars as far as the eye can see into space along with northern lights. This happens on good days during the wintertime, when the frost gets to 20-29 Celsius. Some may have been satellites but MANY where obviously definitely not.
I have also witnessed twice the same night objects coming extremely close to me out in the country side while staying in my families wood cabinet(house). They where hovering just maybe 2-300 meters above me, one of them was a gray disk with a red light on the bottom and just hovered right across the sky straight over the house and then disappeared over the mountain. I even got my binoculars to take a closer look at it.
The other was a very big gloving orb flashing $red, green, yellow and blue and it moved like a sperm would move if you know how that looks like in every direction while I was driving my car up there and stopped to take a look at it. The time was about 3-4 in the night and neither of them made one sound, not even a bib.
I dont think all of them are alien spacecraft, I think some of them are but alot of them are government created objects and are a part of a secret space program developed by nazis, russians, chinese and the usa-nasa.
I do believe some of them are manned by what we might call alien groups but I think they also live here and have bases and cities within the earth and in mountains ans so on so on.... so I dont really know if we can classify them as being 'alien', rather like just other intelligent beings who share the same planet.
some are even inter-dimensionals maybe who travel here from other planets that are in effect 'other dimensions' in some cases. :D who knows!!?

Makes no difference to me.. I'm neither pro, nor against the Military's Equipment.. and War, well to me, from my perspective, War is a constant, on many, many fronts. However, I'd rather not get into Politics, Spirituality, Science, Government, Law, etc. at the moment.
I posted those pictures, because aircraft such as those are often mistaken and/or labeled UFOs. Those and experimental aircraft -- the X-Planes (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/x.htm) for example.
Personally as an Engineer with Flight Experience, Combat Simulator Experience, and Civilian Aircraft Simulator Experience, my opinion is that the United States and Other Nations' Militaries have developed some awesome hardware.. It would be nice if it were put to better use..
Welcome to Area-51.. Have a Nice Day.. ;)

Exactly, I think they´v might have bases in the ocean, ofcourse modern science (what we are told) have only explored 20% of the ocean covering this planet, so who knows whats in the ocean.
I think also many beings are like, just very very different to us in every way... the way you would compare an insect to a man, there are just massive difference between perception, looks, consciousness, mind etc etc

Icke is about all of those...
So am I, however, I do not believe Icke's definition of those concepts as he presents the information.
1. I do not believe his humanoid/reptilian hybrid genetically altered creature theory. Why not? I have studied the World intensely for many years myself, and I see no concrete evidence of his claims.
2. I do not accept his definition(s) and/or perception(s) of the membership and/or actions of the "ruling elite" as he defines. Why not ? Because I have researched many of his claims, and he doesn't provide enough proof for me to agree with his conclusions.
3. Though he does present some interesting knowledge that is not available in the main-stream media (and I am one who appreciates that), based on my own personal research, I have found his information to be somewhat inaccurate on many levels -- and I have researched Icke's claims quite a bit -- it's been required of me.
4. I believe that Aircraft did indeed hit the Twin Towers on 9/11, and the impact combined with the explosive nature of jet fuel, in combination with the high temperature that the fuel burned collapsed the towers -- the shock and vibration of the towers falling destabilized the foundation on Building 7, and there was no controlled demolition. I believe it was an Aircraft that hit the Pentagon and not a missle..
5. I do believe that the Freemasons and Illuminati exist, however, as an insider I can recognize Icke's inability to obtain accurate information about the inner activities of the Secret Societies, and therefore recognize why his theories are "out there", and having frequented this forum and the other Conspiracy Theory/Conspiratainment Sites such as Alex Jones, Jeff Rense, George Noory, AboveTopSecret.com, ConspiracyCentral.net (http://forum.conspiracycentral.net/), etc., Icke's theories lose a lot of credibility (to me), and everything he says remains theory with nothing provable.
And that's relatively where I stand. I respect Icke's work, however, don't believe or believe in much of his work. Kinda funny isn't it ? I don't believe his work, just like he doesn't want to believe what the Illuminati are about. How ironical. :D

That last part is how i view most of the things up there. I mean, i think that with the majority of strange goings on we're not talking "crafts" here or things made of metal with nuts and bolts with a pilot steering it but just big floating jellyfish and wee floating balls of plancton getting eaten by other bigger floating things.. i've seen *stars* pass by others *stars* which then give chase only to give up.. not unlike watching lions chasing gazelle's and eventually thinking "ah.. fuck it".
That's my take anyways, this place is teeming with life, some of which we see, some we don't and some we seldom get a glimpse of.

ISS is frequently visible over here in GB.
I spotted it again few weeks ago - it looked bigger than Venus and was visible for at least two min. glowing yellow bright.

Very cool, Kriss. I'll check it out. Mind you when I was a teenager there was no ISS. Lol!!
When living in Florida the space shuttle launched - early '90's this occasion - and because of the particular direction it was traveling that day I could see the shuttle itself - not just a blip. It was a daytime launch. The sun and clouds were in just the right position to cast a peach color on the vehicle. Of course, no camera. Didn't even know the thing was going up. Just happened to catch it while crossing the street.

He's here to cause trouble and he sees himself as illuminated and far 'above' such as you or I... then my suspicions are confirmed by looking at his website.

Summary: At sunrise on the 14th April 1561, the citizens of Nuremberg beheld "A very frightful spectacle." The sky appeared to fill with cylindrical objects from which red, black, orange and blue white disks and globes emerged. Crosses and tubes resembling cannon barrels also appeared whereupon the objects promptly "began to fight one another."

it wouldn't at all, i agree. but in our reality they could be less than "solid"...the fact that they can disappear gives them certain qualities that separate them from our reality. I've never touched one so i have no idea if they're solid!

I've never touched one so i have no idea if they're solid!People were able to touch 'angels' in the bible and they ate food and had the ability to appear and disappear. Not that I believe everything in the bible but there are clues there perhaps?
