But at the end of their public minsitry, the two apocalyptic witnesses, Moses and Elijah, are killed by the beast / antichrist, and their dead bodies will lay in the streets of Jerusalem, and the whole world rejoices, giving presents to each other as if it were the "Best Christmas Holiday Ever". Revelation tells us the whole world sees their dead bodies -- this prophecy could not have come about before television news and instant broadcasting media were in invented, a future which John could not have imagined but is now possible. Finally, after years of these nuisance end time prophets criticizing the great world leader (antichrist) who promises a New Age peace and economic stability with his global currency system, they are killed. But then suddenly THE TWO WITNESSES AWAKEN FROM DEATH. Revelation 11:11 - Rev. 12 describe the 2 dead prophets awakening from the dead, hearing a loud voice call them up, and they rise into a cloud. This parallels the Bible passage which describes what Christians call the rapture.

SO WHEN DOES ANTICHRIST COME TO POWER? Count back 1260 days from December 21, 2012 and check the news for information about a charismatic diplomat who negotiates a peace treaty allowing Israel to re-start their system of sacrifice on the Temple Mount without threat from radical Muslims. The temple need not be built for the Jewish sacrifice to commence, but watch information about the rebuilding of the Temple on the site of Solomon 's Temple. The diplomat who arranges this treaty will surely be seen as a hero to Israel, perhaps they will proclaim him their messiah outright, but there will be signs and omens as well. Perhaps this diplomat will arrange a peace directly after the Gog Magog War occurs, and so look for that battle in the mid-east to occur sometime between now and 1260 days before December 21, 2012. Watcherwebsite hopes that we are wrong and that the End of Days will be far in the future, and that perhaps the circa 1996 end times scenario below will be useful afterall, and that 2012 turns out to be just a random date and life continues on as usual. Our research suggests we will not know the identity of the antichrist until the covenant is "confirmed". This covenant or treaty "with the many", will deal with Israel and the Temple Mount sacrifice. Prophecy tells us the antichrist breaks the covenant or treaty by CAUSING THE SACRIFICE TO CEASE... therefore, the covenant must be one that BEGINS the system of sacrifice on the Temple Mount! The covenant of Daniel 9 is no ordinary "peace treaty", but must deal specifically with the Temple Mount sacrifice.
It was not valid to expect the Tribulation to occur in the year 1000, or any year between 70AD to 1948. The State of Israel did not exist. The end time prophecy of Daniel concerning the reinstated Jewish sacrifice can not be fulfilled by events taking place anywhere else but the Jerusalem Temple Mount. Apocalyptic prophecy simply could not have been fulfilled prior to THIS GENERATION.
