If you could delete all the responsibility from your life how would you spend your time. He's a list of things I wish I had more time to do.
Watch sunsets. Sit beside camp fires. Read. Play guitar. Walk in forrests. Swim during the day. Rock Climb. Scuba Dive. Be naked. Listen to Santana very loud. Get Stoned. Visit the desert. Sleep with everyone. Have loads of pets, then set them free. Set fire to my car and ride a push bike everywhere with a sleeping bag and books in a backpack.
Whats stopping me?
Job, credit card, pet cat, wife, bills, GUILT. I'm ready to go, but my wife is clinging to normal life and pissed off with all this david icke mad stuff. The fact that I'm saying BUT must mean I'm not ready to go.
DAMN.
I think the govenment do not solve the homeless situation purposly to scare people like me out to work at 5:30am everyday. Next homeless person I see, I'm gonna grab a hold of and beat the shit out of him saying "I know who you work for"!!!!!

Its true, the only barrier to freedom is fear (guilt being a form of fear): and your wife problem is a truthseeker classic
However, freedom (IMHO) isn't removing responsibility: its taking responsibility: becuase its when we dont do that we get all the other crap imposed on us!

Anything which does not involve spending needless money on needless items. Amazingly though most of humanity (consumers, zombies) would simply become bored, see "they" like the world the way it is now, the "culture creators" have done an excellent job. As seen by the majority, who simply cannot imagine a non materialistic world. Take John Lennon's world in 'Imagine' as an example, tell the masses to give up their possessions and their lost "what will I do... I'm bored". Humanity is creatively inept and to dependant on nonsense, half of them never even look around them and see the splendour, which is Nature, what a shame.
Humanity needs to eradicate the monetary system, which has enslaved this world for far too long. In a monetary system freedom and peace can never be achieved.

I feel the same way as you... Im just trying to live the best way I can within this system. And hopefully my way of living will inspire other people to do the same, and the more people who are doing it, the better this place will become. My money goes towards rent, food and travel. After that I dont care about possessions; apart from books and a never ending bag of "parsley". That keeps me happy, the simple life... I would like to just live in a little cottage/bungalow (depending on location) and just relax... something my parents dont understand, they constantly nags about me not doing anything with my life. I am! Im living it to the best of my ability.
Sincerely,
Daniel

this thread is a great example of the goodness that can be contained within the David Icke forums. I started this thread last night after a couple of glasses of wine. Woke up this morning thinking I'd be ignored or ridiculled. (Both perfectly ok with me). But I log on and find people feel the same way. And are talking openly about what could be an uneasy concept without judgement.
I recenlty made a bid for freedom by deciding to sell my car and pay off half my debts, then the fucker starts making noise (after I have placed the ad). I took it to the mechanic and it's going to cost me $2800 to put a new gearbox and rear diff in. Fuck.
I was quite prepard to bus and train it to work everyday knowing I'd be free in a years time to do whatever I want. because I'd have debts that could be paid weekly by doing maybe 3 days a week work and leave myself free to study the great books for 2 days and spend the other days spontaneously.
I set myself some guidelines when 16 or so, which I still try to adhear to as much a possible, here they are.
If you do things you enjoy most of the time, life will be good. Set your llife up to have a job you enjoy, a partner you enjoy, hobbies you enjoy, and friends you enjoy. Learn to enjoy being alone and silent for long periods of time. Always put the needs of others before your own, but realise when someone is a user by nature and avoid them. Never harm anyone. Never lie. Think of yourself as a God. Believe in research and learning. Always see youself as the pupil. Make plans and know they will succeed. Get rich or die triyin', I put the last one in to see whos still reading. there are plenty of other traits with help me be who I am, but you can guess the rest, we probably have many in common.
I've got tons of books since discovering David (I thought he's be locked up by now, I've been in OZ for 10 years and he popped into my head whilst in work for some reason).
A great quote is in The Hollow Earth by Dr. Raymond Bernard. Used when explaining the unexplainable through the theory that the earth is hollow.
"Once again, the supernatural gives way can be explained as the perfectly natural with the greater understanding of the true nature of things"
Its something to that effect, but I love it, There is nosuch thing as Supernatural or parranormal. Its all natural and normal, we simple have to broaden our percetion to understand anything. As Huxley famously states.
"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern."
As for the debts, I think spending money is like eating chocolate. You can spend you life looking after your health and finances very shrewdly and never get into debt or put on weight. Then you relax and think "Fuck it" withing a year, you've bought a bunch of clothes that no longer fit thanks to your new fat chocolate arse" - getting out of Debt and getting healthy is hard work.
Meanwhile the media keeps pumping out the message "everyone is in debt with the cards, its modern life, its ok. and here's a guy with perfect abs who says you should get back on the tread mill.
The things you own end up owning you.
Its as simple as that.
I could exist without ever touching money, I could be happy being homeless living in a tent with a library card and a guitar.
one day I will

i think people are scared to be truley free, i am anyways. yeah though life is about enjoying it and learning what you can. the way im going with my life is who knows lol. the easy way is to keep signing on and lieing to the dole saying im looking for work and the other way is liveing in a tent or makeing do liveing at my mams and dads. i think liveing in a tent would be ok, its just foo and stuff how could you really sustain yourself with out relying on the system?.

Yes yes, great thinking everyone. "They" want to implement the idea of - "You can't live/survive without us" (The System). So we have to hack/exploit that "System" seeking alternatives that are more healthy and useful for us.
All of you will find a way . . .

In the eternal words of Homer Simpson,
“ don’t you think I would rather be living nude in the woods somewhere like some ancient pagan?!”
-
If I had infinite time and resources I would be in the wilderness perfecting and learning wilderness skills.
As well as,
- playing with my family and making love to my lady
- playing with my animals all the time
- traveling with doctor who
- learn how to fly a spaceship
- communicate with Bigfoot
- laugh with a dolphin
- hide in bush
- sing to and hug a tree
- go backwards and forwards in time
- hop like a frog
- understand the lifestyles of squirrels
- dance naked in the rain, in the wind
- meditate the ecstasy of life’s silence
- transcend dimensions
- talk to a happy weasel
- draw a ying yang with a compass
- climb a tree
- pick and eat fresh raspberries, hmmm
As well as other stuff I can’t think of right now.

it's quite easy to survive comfortably without working for the system.
plenty of places who can use a hand, in return for food and a place to sleep.
i've just got back from working in nature for two weeks and it feels great not to have to think about money or any other society imposed responsibility.
work, eat, hydrate, piss, shit & sleep... that is how simple life is.
i don't think i want that kind of life though,
it sounds too easy for me to run away from all the evil shit in society
and live a good life all for myself.
i think i want to stay here and try to help other people find happiness in themselves.
even if i only succeed for a little bit :)
if i die in a terrorist action or whatever, because i didn't find a safe place far away from society.
it doesn't matter. death is a not problem anyway ;)
