What do you mean "Pagan?" If your question relates to things like Christianity absorbing other beliefs into their own, then yes.

Most religions have absorbed or killed of various forms of nature worship. that's one of their control mechanisms; they steer you away from what's natural until you become at odds with your true self and then they offer to show you a path through the darkness. which of course is anything but natural.

I remember reading a while back that the foundation of most religions were derived from earth worship, well forces of it. In regards to abrahamic religions in particular, the meaning got lost or corrupted, hence theres no mention of it anymore.

I would say so yeh. religion has corrupted nature worship over the past couple of thousand years untill there is virtually no records of exactly what our ancestors worshiped and believed.

Thanks for the links, pretty interesting stuff. Also, if you know of any information on the connection between paganism and most major religions, it'll be much appreciated.:)

Did all if not most religions start of as pagan worship or forms of it?Yes and Christianity not only adopted some 'pagan' beliefs (apart from the bible) but the bible itself is 'pagan' in disguise.
