The Obama administration, siding with former President George W. Bush, is trying to kill a lawsuit that seeks to recover what could be millions of missing White House e-mails in a stunning reversal of Obama's rhetoric about Bush secrecy on the campaign trail.

Two advocacy groups suing the Executive Office of the President, including one of the groups that helped derail former House Speaker Tom DeLay, say that large amounts of White House e-mail documenting Bush's eight years in office may still be missing, and that the government must undertake an extensive recovery effort. They expressed disappointment that Obama's Justice Department is continuing the Bush administration's bid to get the lawsuits dismissed.

During its first term, the Bush White House failed to install electronic record-keeping for e-mail when it switched to a new system, allegedly resulting in millions of messages that could not be found.

Absolutely right. That he hasn't been speaks volumes about where we stand, and where Obama bin Barrack stands. On this people can not deny that things are looking crystal clear.

Oh but he has changed hasn't he? From the smiling would be do-gooder that people voted for, into being cut from the exact same cloth as Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Rice, and Gonzolez that we just endured for eight arduous & tedious years.

The way I see it, they will be really be making their moves now. Already it is dawning on people that they've been had again, been played big time. As this fact is presently sinking in, they (tptb) will need to shock and awe us as a distraction and galvanize us together against something. Some slight of hand from the magicians box of tricks is forthcoming. And come it will, like a steamroller.

Yeh definitely except any democrat or Republican president would not and could not be decent because they are all the same.

Obama is worse than Bush. I hated Bush but I absolutely despise Obama.
