Just a reminder here that there is no need to quote a post with a HUGE photo file if you are the next person to post.

It just slows down people's page loads. :)

The original image was in bmp, I had to change it into jpg to make lighter, but yes, people can simply reply without quoting the same picture again.

Anyway the picture itself is not loaded into the server, it's on a remote server.

Good point, I have seen the same thing repeated on many forums here before, I wanted to tell people not to quote the big images.

No problem....you are most welcome to post pictures adbasque....and its was a beauty too! :)

The suggestion was not aimed at you adbasque - Its just that some people don't have fast internet speeds at times (for various reasons including slow satellite downloads, dial-up etc), and I was asking others to be considerate about quoting when its not necessary. It may only load once, but it takes more time for the entire page to load when there are two or more pics trying to load at the same time, and it can be a real pain. I know because at certain times of the day I experience this myself.

Its just about being considerate before hitting the "quote".....sometimes you can hit quote, but remove the picture link from it......after all when the picture is in the OP's thread starter post, everyone knows what picture is being referred to. :)

I agree I experience slow browsing even though I am using "fast" internet, and people with less speed could sit there for good 10 minutes waiting for the page to load, and sometimes it doesn't it simply times out and crashes.
