Just for a bit of fun, how about posting your favourite pubs, and why you think it's a grand boozer..

I will start

One of my favourites is the Sloop Inn in St. Ives.

Great food, great drink, lovely location and great atmosphere.

One of my other favs is

Murrell Arms, in Barnham. Quaint old decor, landlords been the same since 1964 !!..and has a beautiful resident feline...so cute !!

I drink at the Charles Hotel, near my place (Joondanna). :)

..aww, cheers accuracy...tar very much !! I love good, unique, quaint, historical pubs, and it's not all about alcohol, it's about getting together in a warm and cosy place and they've been around for centuries to boot.
