23rd Feb Meditation

I've just been told about Maha Shivratri which falls on 23rd Feb this year, its a Hindu festival, apparently the most auspicious night of the year for meditation.
Its purpose is supposedly to awaken a state of higher consciousness in everybody. Sounded interesting, thought I'd pass it on... :)
