unusual RAF activity

At 09.26 this morning, I saw two modern fighter jets flying overhead at very high speed, side by side and moving from north to south.I live in Merseyside and this is very unusual for this part of the world.Anybody out there see them or anything related?

Funny you should say that...I saw a Tornado flying low and with fully loaded pylons...not just fuel tanks either.
This was 2 days ago around mid afternoon to early evening...the aircraft came from a westerly direction and was turning north!
Not the usual thing you see around these parts.

Dead right m8.I have seen this sort of thing in lancashire and cumbria fairly often.Any scouser will agree that this just doesn`t happen round here.Not since the Early to mid 80`s anyway.

nice one! very handy this.at 10.55 I saw at least 20 swifts flying erraticly.I know this is what swifts do, but only at certain times of the day when insect numbers are high, besides, I`ve never seen them round here b4.At 11.13 an orange helicopter went n/w in a big hurry.probably nothing but all i can do is call what i see.

LFA 14 covers mainland Scotland north of the central region, the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland. Major flying stations are RAF Lossiemouth, RAF Kinloss and RAF Leuchars, as well as the Air Weapons Range at Tain

I live roughly 5 miles from the Air Weapons Range at Tain in the highlands of Scotland, we have many jets flying very low almost every day and night, you wouldn't believe the noise we put up with here.

So it's unusual not to see or hear a plane here!.

I live about 20 mile north of RAF Leeming and there is a hell of a lot of activity going on around here lately. Just a couple of days back 3 tornado's flying in formation heading that way and it seems there is some military plane going over every few days now .. Never had so much activity if any ..

Used to do loads of work in your neck of the woods! Ever worked for Glenmorangie? lol.. nearly everybody I meet up there had at some point!

Stayed in the strangest place in the world in Helmsdale once, dude had all his dead pets skinned and mounted behind glass on the wall. The locals called it the Pink Palace, I can't remember the real name. Dressed as himself in the day and as a drag queen at night. Crazy.
