When I first started hearing about these things I dismissed them.
I thought they were just the images of insects being distorted
by camera shutter quirks.

Now I'm not so sure. The thing I found very odd is that they
only seem to be seen in certain areas. One of the best areas
for seeing them is near a very deep Central American cave.

That suggests to me that they may be a subterranean creature
that has emerged in recent years, much like the chupacabras.

ive had this happen a few times. and sometimes go capturing this. i wonder if its digital camera isnt it just digital errors.

i think these would only be legit on SLR or real format camera's.

although i would like more information about these artifacts.

I was thinking the same thing. Why not use a big butterfly net and

Just a thought, but maybe they've not been caught as they don't fully exist in this frequency, like not quite physical?

Could be. Interesting thought. The subterranean creatures (according to
what I've read) often seem to have a paranormal aspect to them too. They
can shape-shift or disappear or create illusions or whatever. A weird bunch.

Nope. But there is a later edition of the book with more chapters. I haven't
gotten a copy yet.

The book does mention chupacabras, lake monsters, bigfoot, grays, reptilians,
and many creatures of folklore like mermaids, fairies, trolls, etc.

The book also points out that nearly all these subterranean creatures are
dangerous to humans. They're after human blood, flesh, genetic material,
children, etc.

So, it might not be a good idea to mess around with these rods without
some protection. :eek:

Yeah I very nearly bought it last night, but am gonna wait a little bit cos I've been spending too much lately, oops!

Does it say bigfoot are dodgy? There's some Joan Ocean info that I need to read about em, but I think she has a different view.

Yes. They have attacked humans and there have even been some reports
of deaths. The ones in the Northwestern USA are usually portrayed as
harmless, though they have been known to chase humans, throw stones,
wreck cabins, etc. In other parts of the world they have a more dangerous
reputation, especially the yeti of the Himalayas (from what I've read in other
sources).

If you watch "The Reptillian Agenda" interview with Credo Mutwa it starts with a trailer for UFOTV. This shows a clip of a parachutist in freefall and a Rod passing him in the air. A news story about Rods also was featured in "The World's Greatest Conspiracy Theories"; the two were identical.

I'm not sure whether Rods are alien or some kind of govt technology.

That's what they look like. They have little appendages along both sides that are slightly staggered. You get one on the left and the corresponding one on the right is not directly opposite, like the wings on a plane, but is slightly further along the fuselage.

i think they're certainly a life form, whether its indigenous to earth & as yet undiscovered, or they're alien in some way....i dont know

the speed these things move at is mind boggling though, & the fact there has never been a dead one or a captured one tells me they are probably slightly out of phase from our dimension...

they seem to employ a sort of natural ''anti-grav'', & they have been seen right on the edge of the stratosphere, so oxygen or pressure is obviously not required...

they do fascinate me.....:D, for all we know they could be alien birds, maybe brought here & living in underground bases, but freely fly about outside..???

the ones i have seen previously have small things like wings on them - these pictures do not show them

i saw a video of some guys base jumping into a hole - they were everywhere !

it would be good to video them again and wave a big net about - you might not catch one but you may see them interacting and changing direction

(Editor's Note: I have looked closely at the object in the photograph below - see enlargement and enhancement at left.

I do not know what the object is, but perhaps one of you may. If you think you know what it is, please let me know.)

Submitter Details:

The photographs were taken by my 40 year old niece at 7:30 AM, on June 16, 2009, on a semi-wilderness lake in Ontario, Canada, where my family owns a small island.

She was standing on the island and shooting toward the mainland. The camera used was a Cannon PowerShot, set on Auto. The lake was deserted, and she was alone at the time and took the photo because the lake was so still with a slight mist rising.

Please let me know what you make of this as we're all pretty stumped.

I think the wings would be similar to fins found on marine animals like cuttlefish. Thats how they provide their propulsion. How it works in air/gas rather than liquid I haven't a clue but the mediums are pretty similar so it could be possible for life to evolve in that way.

Look at the number of creatures on land and in the sea yet the miles upon miles of high altitude air are only limited to long distance birds on migration. Nature doesn't waste. It would be ideal for creatures to exist their away from predators.

Why can't we see them? i'm unsure. maybe they're too fast for the human eye (insect wings/ humming birds wings are good examples of this) or they exist on the dimensional edge. I'm very open to that theory but i don't think they are govt. tech spy bots. Everthing about them i've seen points to them being natural biological creatures.
