I am starting to think they are conciously playing games.

Ha, ha, ha - I went to sleep and woke up with the Obamanation's "Common Purpose" ringing in my head - it's not the first time he's used it.

I believe his constant repetition of that phrase is deliberate and anyone who visits this forum must surely know what that 'common purpose' really is?

I worked for someone way back in 1990/91 who was attending 'Common Purpose' who went on to start his own company with a huge leg-up from his employer and to eventually contribute to the destruction of that Midlands 'flagship' tv company which had presumably paid for his 'graduation'. . .

I heard his family fell apart shortly afterwards. . .

Common Purpose = Communitarianism = communism = corporate fascism, all funded by the 'powers that be' (we know who you are) that have funded communism from the beginning and used it as a tool from their extensive 'divide and conquer' edition toolbox.

They are quite clever really because the phrase "common purpose" is something many people who are not in the know might use without thinking, the words are in the public's head already so all the mindwork is already in place. It's like a company opening up which uses a very common word, phrase or logo, all the advertising has already been done, it's already in people's heads.

Let's not get too carried away. The organisation Common Purpose was founded by Julia Middleton in London in 1989. She was a member of the Demos 'think tank' set up by Martin Jacques, who was the former editor of Marxism Today, the magazine of the "Eurocommunist" wing of the British Communist Party, which disappeared up its own arsehole in the late 1980s. It's very much a British thing with aspirations of being a Europe-wide movement.

The phrase "common purpose" has been around much longer and I would say that Middleton deliberately chose that name precisely because it's an everyday phrase that is bland and innocuous-sounding.

I've not heard the Obama speech yet, so I'll reserve judgement on this one, but context is everything. Was he talking about something of relevance to Britain or the EU? If he was using CP as a codeword, what other codewords did he use?
