I was fortunate enough to attend a short talk given by this amazing woman.
During Q and A, an audience member brought up the current issues of doom and gloom (the war, the economic recession, 2012) and ultimately Evil.

Christina Donnell (the author) replied that the Q'ero Indians, whom she has
studied with in person for almost 2 decades, believe that evil does not exist.
That instead, evil is really just a distortion in how we view time.

She said that the Q'ero Indians lived fully in the present moment, refusing to acknowledge the past in any way, even if it's immediate.

I wish she could've discussed more.

Evil is a distortion of our view of time. I know I have heard this concept before.

Any thoughts??

You could maybe recognise parallel universes, in that: this insult/hurt didn't happen in that universe - and then look to see why it didn't: what you could have done differently.

I like that bit from Corinthians: Love keeps no record of wrongs.

In your face, Karma(!) The idea that people will be punished for every little thing they've ever done to us, maybe keeps us locked into that 'wrong'??? and the past?

But then, it is human nature to want to regain the energy stolen from us - power thing? the Reptilian within us?? Maybe if we could get past that, we'd view time differently - all connected to survival threat - or perceived survival threats?
