Ive been thinking about this for many time guys...I can start saying that i always trie to think in a freedom way, i mean, i think nobody has the right to say, make a law, or impose something to others...because everybody is free...for example: many in this forum think that religion is crap, a form of social control (i also think this) but thinking even more...so what? if some people just want to believe in their religion just fine! people is free to do it...its the same in the 2 ways of seeing it, nobody has the right to impose you religion but nobody has the right to impose you the no believing of religion...its just an example.

I read every day the threads of this forum...for example the Abortion is murder thread just makes my brain go round and round and feel pain, im gonna explain you guys what i thought about this: I began thinking: "well yes abortion it is murder" but then i thought: "but maybe we dont know the circumstances of that mother and he has the freedom to abort, nobody has the right to tell her no to abort", but then i thought again xD: "but that mother that has the freedom to abort not being imposed to no abort by others is also imposing his freedom to his baby cause that baby didnt have the freedom chosing to live or die"....and i go round and round and round again, its difficult to explain what i think...

I mean this Illuminati guys are fucking us and dont give us our freedom etc etc...but thinking with the laws of freedom and the definition of the word i should say that those illuminati are also free to impose their ways...i dont think if im explaining me well...

So my conclussion...what is freedom? how it works? it could be just a trick or something? or it is only a consequence of a maybe caotical universe?

My head is burning out triyng to find a way of living where everybody could be free...but then again i would be imposing that way of life...you see guys the trick?? it is fucking hard to understand.

You're on the right track, killuminati18.

Freedom itself is an illusion. Freedom goes hand in hand with bondage/slavery. You have to first believe you are enslaved to believe in freedom otherwise you wouldn't know what freedom is.

It's like happiness. We are constantly bombarded with ways to be happy, to reach happiness. That can only work because we believe we are sad or in misery of some sort. The mind has to burn itself out so that you no longer even know what happiness or sadness is. How can you be sad if you don't know happiness?

What you say about religion and abortion is spot on. You are struggling with it because your mind is trying to understand what can't be understood. The human mind deals with polarities - good or bad, right or wrong, happy or sad, free or enslaved. As long as the mind can settle on one of these it is content but when something in you starts to see it's all bullshit and you don't actually know then the mind wobbles.

You have to see it clearly for yourself. When you do, you will have no interest in trying to bring freedom to the world because as you rightly say, that would be imposing your own agenda on others - no different to what we have already.

This world is unfolding by itself. Everybody is where they are at. Those who are doing what we call "evil" cannot behave any other way. It is not THEM who are doing it. When you clearly see that, the world is no longer a problem for you. You don't need to fix or change anything.

nobody has nothing to say?

Seeing as you ask..

Organised religion. At best it provides a 'crutch' for people who can't handle the harsh reality of existence, the whole 'Life's Short & Harsh & Then We Die End Of Story' harsh reality. It provides hope of an afterlife in paradise/heaven if you're a 'good person' during your time here on earth. It promises that this 'veil of tears' isn't the be-all-end-all of things. :rolleyes:Indeed most religions preach that this mortal life is some sort of 'test'..

At its worst it causes most of the problems in the world. And is a tool for control.

Either way, religion does NOT give freedom.;)Freedom is inside your head.

I understand your troubled thoughts and I've shared them.

What is freedom?

Freedom only exists when we have the knowledge of being imprisoned or whatever, the opposite of freedom. It's the polarity of things.

I recommend listening or reading the works of Alan Watts (not Alan Watt, but Watts, with and 's' at the end) on this subject.

This is a good example:

But listening to his audio-books and lectures is quite nice as well. I have a huge collection of them if anyone wants some. ;)
