btw, why did the guy above bother posting??????
hey! the whole makaveli thing and his last album being an anogram of something like (4give me, im rusty on this) "on the 7th day you think im dead yet i'm still alive, ok" is fucked up. plus the whole 7 day theory, and so so much more stuff that i've either totally forgotton or haven't got the time to list.
it's like the song "killuminati" too. it's always debateable, because he made so many songs, that when he was talking like "you shot me, but i'm still alive" stuff, a lot of that is possibly in reference to the 1st shooting. plus, i think deathrow records jumped all over the "2pac is alive" stuff with the "better dayz" album. the "expect me like you expect jesus to come back, im comin!" at the very end....im sure i've heard that on one of his unreleased track. (at least it was at the time)
i loved 2pac and "hated" him too, cos he was so fucking articulate and had so many great ideas, and really could've made a difference on such a big scale...then he signed with deathrow (which given his situation was understandable, even if it was "selling his soul to the devil"), and it all got a bit wayward in my opinion. it's like:- the video version of "i aint mad at cha" is THE ORIGIONAL one , yet, suge thought is wasnt hard enuff....so you get the "shit version" (as i refer to it) on the album.
i really would've loved to see more 2pac songs with bone thugs n naught by nature. "thug luv" by pac and bone is a great track....but think of the real laid back deep stuff they could've done?
ok, i'll stop rambling!!
peace

http://www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/2pac/Keep-Ya-Head-Up.html
I give a holler to my sisters on welfare
Tupac cares, and don't nobody else care
And uhh, I know they like to beat ya down a lot
When you come around the block brothas clown a lot
But please don't cry, dry your eyes, never let up
Forgive but don't forget, girl keep your head up
And when he tells you you ain't nuttin don't believe him
And if he can't learn to love you you should leave him
Cause sista you don't need him
And I ain't tryin to gas ya up, I just call em how I see em
You know it makes me unhappy (what's that)
When brothas make babies, and leave a young mother to be a pappy
And since we all came from a woman
Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman
I wonder why we take from our women
Why we rape our women, do we hate our women?
I think it's time to kill for our women
Time to heal our women, be real to our women
And if we don't we'll have a race of babies
That will hate the ladies, that make the babies
And since a man can't make one
He has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one
So will the real men get up
I know you're fed up ladies, but keep your head up
try and find my friends, but they're blowin in the wind
Last night my buddy lost his whole family
It's gonna take the man in me to conquer this insanity
It seems tha rain'll never let up
I try to keep my head up, and still keep from gettin wet up
You know it's funny when it rains it pours
They got money for wars, but can't feed the poor
The question I wonder is after death, after my last breath
When will I finaly get to rest? Through this supression
they punish the people that's askin questions
And those that possess, steal from the ones without possesions
The message I stress: to make it stop study your lessons
Don't settle for less - even the genius asks questions
Be grateful for blessings
Don't ever change, keep your essence
The power is in the people and politics we address
Always do your best, don't let the pressure make you panic
And when you get stranded
And things don't go the way you planned it
Dreamin of riches, in a position of makin a difference
Politicians and hypocrites, they don't wanna listen
If I'm insane, it's the fame made a brother change
It wasn't nuttin like the game
It's just me against the world
The Don Killuminati, R.I.P.

I dont know anything about his music or beliefs but something struck me as being similar to the jim morrison's dead mr mojo rising thing .They wouldnt think that the people were foolish enough to fall for the same thing twice would they ?To create a hero and remove him and then martyr him the whole messiahnic thing all over again , maybe they just need to keep the story going to maintain some sort of power ? just a thought .:D
