Singer reveals title refers to his 'state of being'
Marilyn Manson has announced the title for his new studio album.
The hard rocker revealed that the new record will be called 'The High End Of Low' on his official site Marilynmanson.com.
The singer explained that the title referred to “a self-described state of being that I’m in. You’re going to be fucking freaked. It’s the shit”.
The follow up album to 2007’s 'Eat Me, Drink Me' is currently in the mixing stage, although there is no official release date yet.
Manson added that he will be filming the video for the album’s first single, 'I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies', later this month.
“It’s nine minutes long,” he said. “Severely sadistic. Basically it's murder, sex, death, the end.”

Another tentative song title is 'Armagoddammotherfuckinggeddon' which is just hilarious. I love it.
BTW this thread is going to become a shitstorm. I can feel it.

I don't know what to make of MM, I don't think his music to great to begin with but even him as a person. Seems like a well educated person but all that gimicky shit just doesn't impress me. And why always the predictable boring route of Murder, sex, death... so like every other one of your albums.
Try making music for yourself instead of making music to impress the 13 year old goths, why doesn't he try giving his fans a different message other than a sadistic one, I'll tell ya why.. because it wouldn't sell and we can't be having that can we.

Now there is a guy who thinks outside the box, top dude full respect to him.
He is welcome round mine any day.
He was asked once about what he would do or tell a child who was a problem child and was either self harming or harming others.
He just sat there smiled and said...
"I wouldnt say a thing!"
The repoter looked shocked...then he added..
" I would sit down with the child and listen to him, I would listen to him till he had finnished, then I would try and help him."
he added
"TELLING! a child does nothing but anoys him"
Some of the most estranged people of this world, made them selves estranged because they refuse to co-exsist with normality.
I cant wait to hear this new album.

I've heard some good stuff from him, some bad stuff, at least from my point of view anyway.
But then, I'm more of a country/folk music guy anyway.
