View Full Version : What is your purpose in life?

Everyone just post what you intuitively believe you were incarnated here to do.

I used to think this was my final 3D incarnation, now I really don't know because I am quite far from perfection. I can't entirely control my emotions, which is a running theme in my life. I used to be extremely bipolar, it still kicks in sometimes. All of these problems are indicative of the fact that I'm here to solve them - same with everyone else! So if you want to determine what is your life purpose, simply determine what persistent problems you have had throughout your life.

I believe I'm

a) here to clear past karma
b) here to help prepare the planet for 2012, although I can't say I'm entirely prepared myself
c) to learn the principles of alchemy!

In fact I would say I have bells going off in my head every time I hear the world alchemy. I am supposed to become an alchemist! Well, that's what I think anyway. Exploring my creativity here, I feel like I've been on this planet for the last 26,000 year cycle and before that I was living somewhere else in the universe. I feel like I was a sequential Pleiadian but who can prove anything like that, right? I think I have future incarnations that are not human and that interconnect and communicate with my current incarnation, but the same can be said for every human being.

What about all of you? I'm sure we will have quite interesting responses. :p

Here is my very brief reply :-

I am here to do whatever I FEEL that I want to do, and my soul is my guide. If there are obstacles in my way, then obviously I am gonna have to overcome them or else I wont be able to do what I FEEL that I want to do. The obstacles could be in my mind or in the APPARENT physical world.

Don't know, after all these years. So I suppose I didn't have a plan laid out before I came here. Big mistake, next time I will make a plan & program myself to remember it. Or maybe I decided to do just whatever caught my fancy.

Sometimes I think I got dropped off here by mistake.:D

Reality is pretty depressing though.
Most people in the world wont even live half aswell as anyone posting in this thread (or half as long), then they'll die too, or be bombed or whatever.

At the moment I'm working on breaking out of suffering. In the little longer perspective I'm waiting for real artificial intelligence. The industrial revolution helped us with machines doing much work for us, yet we are still batteries in the System. The next step is to have technology to free us from being batteries.

If you really do not believe in existence after death in any form, what keeps you from killing yourself, knowing that your entire life is without meaning, as whatever you do, will eventually be forgotten, and any children you might have will die, and their memories forgotten as well?

Well because it'd hurt my family if i killed myself, thats why.

And i got the idea from common sense.
I can't 'prove' it, but i can rationalize it.

Sure people have NDE's (unless theyre making it up), but MANY more people die then are brought back with no memory of it, a fact largely ignored by people on this forum.
Not that NDE's would be proof of anything anyway.

I'd really like to believe we dont truely 'die', but i just havent seen any evidence to the contrary.

You may be right. If you are, I am definitely living my life now exactly as I want to, apart from not having decent night's sleeps.

However, when I die I will have the perfect deep sleep, for all of eternity.

Well because it'd hurt my family if i killed myself, thats why.

But why care? Eventually your family will die, become non-existant, and not remember the pain, as they wouldnt have conscienceness, memory, or anything.

Eventually the universe will die. It will in 10^150 years, become a uniform blob of photons, with no volume of space differentiatable from any other volume of space. Your memory, consciencess, past feeling, and actions, will have no impact on this whatsoever, nor will your families.

If there is no life after death, you are litterly meaningless, and so is everyone, and everything else, as the future of the physical realm we live in, is already predetermined. Therefore, nothing inbetween the beginning, and the end, matters.

Knowing that your families pain is irrelevant and meaningless, what point does someone who does not believe in the afterlife have to live for?

Also, remember, once you killed yourself, you would have no recollection of your family, your life, nothing. You wouldnt exist. Living, youre just delaying the inevitable.

I'm planning to live for a long time in this universe. Like thousands of years. My theory is that it's very dangerous to have the belief that we will grow old and die before the age of 90. That will kill you!

Even the universe itself will last forever I believe. And our universe is just a tiny slice of reality.

I believe that one of the reasons that I am here on this planet is to sift out what's true, and what's false. Even as a little kid, I was always interested in magic and magician's tricks. I was always interested in figuring out how a certain trick worked i.e it's secret. So, I got started at a very young age.

Today, as I learn more about the NWO, Lucierians, CT's, alternative history, channelling and the stuff that Icke, Hoagland and others talk about..I've come to some very interesting theories about how things work in this world.

I also try to find peace and happiness in the small things in life, like talking to my dogs etc. Trying my best to be a nice person.

Isnt it bitterly ironic that humans have evolved to realise this as a possible reality but yet are powerless to know if it's true or not?

TBH I dont know if there's something after we die, ive long grappled with the idea of conciousness and how that comes into existance.
Why am I, me?
It can only really be thought out through the first person.
Did i simply just spring into existance at the moment of conception?
And if so, why with these parents and at this time and as a human?

Im not suicidal but im am quite curious, ive thought about it...just to know.
But then what if i get punished it some way...
Alot of people do kill themselfs though and itd be harsh to think depressed people are in some terrible reality right now for not being able to cope with this hellish one.

All this conciousness/dimension/frequency/meaning of life stuff just seems like an attempt to rationalize something that may have no meaning at all.

So if you want to determine what is your life purpose, simply determine what persistent problems you have had throughout your life.

I think your right, this is the key to freeing your self from your karmic burdens and truly growing from this experience. ;)

I dont suffer the usual battles people usually suffer over and over again as i've always looked at each problem as it arises and learn at every opportunity. I like to say "i may make mistakes but i only make them once".

But there is one constant that i can think of that arises every so often....and that is that i feel its my responsibility to fix all the problems that come my way! and it can become self destructive when i realise that i cant do it all on my own!

I'm stuck between being unable and not wanting to ignore others suffering. I wish i knew the answer to this.

Been thinking about this alot for some years. I feel I am here for similar purposes, Michael Christopher. I know for certain I have been back and forth here eons ago, but I won't go into details about each lesson I have learned.

I will state that I am working with karmic and Reiki healing, and I have been exploring shamanism and training myself in the astral. I wish not to reveal all of my tasks because I regard them as highly intimate.

I am sure we all as earth' s people have many contributions that will come together to materialise the peaceful world we dream of, the one that was taken away from us, or rather we somehow let slip away.

One of my passions is to see Earth restored to its ultimate beauty and her creatures co-existing without ANY dark influences anymore... :)
