What is this forum REALLY ?

Could I have your views on what this forum is REALLY all about ?

This is the way i see it :-

- It's for learning and sharing knowledge
- Alot of us are on a "journey" and we are living it out on this forum
- To discuss ways of creating peace on earth, and also inner peace
- To discuss ways of "waking up" other people in real life
- To discuss our views and plant seeds of thought in other forum member's heads (to help with THEIR "awakening")

The last point is the most important because that means that we are continually trying to wake up EACH OTHER (ie sort of trying to plant seeds in each others heads). We do it ALL the time on here. So why the heck do we have a problem doing some leaflets ? I do personally have problems doing leaflets cos I can't be arsed with it. The reason I have a problem doing it is because my heart doesnt want to dwell on these depressing things. I mean, we shouldnt even be put in this situation where we have to leaflet people, it just isnt NATURAL for us to have to do it. THAT is why I find it hard to motivate myself. But now that I understand it, I am DEFINITELY gonna stop talking about it and FUCKING DO IT.

We were ok RECEIVING the info FROM AN OUTSIDE SOURCE, but quite a few people then say that once they have the info, then they just think it's right to meditate and forget the rest of the people who have not yet received this knowledge. It's hypocritical IN MY OPINION.

Well,what I do,is get the cold,hard,practical stuff out there.Don't even try to "wake others up" (I really dislike some of the catchphrases,I gotta say lol).

The information about the EU,which you can then,gently expand to explain the New World Order,but only if you feel the listener is willing to hear.

I'd liken it to a TV and you have the remote control to zap at will , and, if you so wish, you can make your own show. The themes range from shallow, deep,hilarious, sad and serious. Some are addictive and you keep coming back and some you just stick with for the one episode. Some posters/hosts make you automatically cringe and reach for the remote with others you like listening to what they have to say.

I'm like a sponge, reading this and reading that, delving further into subject matter and filing away for later use.

I've also met quite a few nice folk on here that i'll likely never meet in person as it would often require flying 2-5000 km's.

As a relative newcomer to this forum, I would suggest that it appears that it may be wise to choose your questions carefully. It does seem to me that if you ask the wrong question, one which questions the underlying belief system that is held here, you will only receive abuse for going against the norm. It seems to me that questions are ok here, as long as they are the questions that people here want you to ask.

It could be more of a confidence thing in passing the information across eloquently enough so that it is convincing to the listener. It's easy on a forum to take the time to craft and edit a post so that it has the effect which isnt possible in conversation. I've found that in the past, I've gotten out of my depth when talking about some of the issues we discuss on here and its a case of handling the conversation correctly at that point so as not to blow all the prior good work by sounding like an idiot lol. Also, I've realised that it is not enough passing on this info based on what has been read on forums and heard on radio shows alone. Gaining extra confidence in talking about the issues comes from doing research nearer to or from the source IMO.

Talking about things occurring now in relation to historical events elsewhere is a good way of passing on info because it then allows you to look into the future with current events so that seeds can be planted in the listener.

Also, there is the diffusion effect from the forum. Having a bit of a rant on the old soap box kind of gets it out of the system to a receptive audience. Ranting person to person can come across as being rather negative, but I've found that lately, its surprising who is starting to listen what with people seeing things surface for themselves.

It is also a great way for the PTB to monitor exactly what those that oppose them are currently thinking. They could never achieve something as great as this themselves as to join their group/forum you would need to learn a secret handshake, sacrifice a child or bum someone to get in, and of course all under pain of death (sorry "suicide") ;)

Then again, if the thousands of conspiracies discussed here are real, it interests me that the 'PTB' can't even shut one obscure website down.

If I am to take on board the premise that world governments and secret societies are capable of murdering civillians, assasinating politicians, controlling whole media networks and pulling the strings of every major corporation there is - then why are the 'whistleblowers' able to speak freely, make hugely successful films, hand out leaflets in the street, start websites, make youtube videos and post on this very forum?

Additionally, many of these 'whistleblowers' often give away their names & locations and few contributers to this forum seem overly concerned by what would happen to them if the powers that be came knocking on their door.

If the world's governments are capable of evil deeds on a par with Darth Vader blowing up planets, then it is reasonable to assume that many contributors to this forum would have been imprisoned, assasinated or re-programmed through some horrible '1984' style brainwashing and David Icke's website would have been shut down long ago.

The title that it has now is ambiguous and invites posters to use it as an EXCUSE to post negative comments about the people on here, the forum, and the motives of the forum. So I regret giving it that title.

That's one of the major problems here.

We are constantly being told to open our minds on these boards, but hypothetically, if someone supported any of the following viewpoints in a calm and inquisitive manner...

9/11 may not neccessarily have been an inside job
Reptillians may not exist
The BBC is quite good sometimes
The holocaust may have actually happened
The word 'Golliwog' is quite often used by racist people

...9 times out of 10 they would be flooded with a tirade of venomous abuse, which isn't very open minded when you think about it.

Maybe they have a valid inquiry. Maybe they have evidence too. Maybe they just have a different opinion.

And maybe we should listen to them from time to time in order to formulate a balanced viewpoint. Isn't that what debate is all about?

But all too often it ends in tears - 'theorist vs debunker' ad infinitum and never a resolution. It is clear the theorists have the upper hand here. If I was on a debunker site the opposite would be true in a tiresome, predictable fashion.

But then again - this is David Icke's website - what did I expect?
