I was detained at her majesty's pleasure (i'd had a 'moment' and got sent down for arson) and was working putting car parts together. I was sat a table with 4 muslims all talking in Urdu when i heard one of them say 'timothy mcvey' and thought to myself 'i wonder what they're talking about'. Then i heard a bulletin and realised they must have heard an earler one that i didn't hear over the machinery. Then when the news of the second plane hitting came over i noticed one of the muslim guys face break into a really big excited grin!! He clocked that i'd seen it and wiped it off his face but it was too late...the mask had slipped! I sorta don't blame him considering the west's foreign policies over the decades but doesn't there come a point where you have to say my country right or wrong?

That was the day my now wife gave in to my relentless pressure and said she would go out with me. She literally said it 5 minutes before we saw the news. Talk about an omen (good or bad hard to say lol)

I was at work and wasting time on the net when i saw it pop up on a news website. I asked my manager if we could stick the radio on and she said "is it really that important?" After arguing that that this event will change the world i convinced her to let us listen. I can remember workmates laughing at me when i told them that this will start a war and that society will become even more controlled.

I came out of the shower, just in time to see 2nd plane hit and thought what the **** is this.

I was driving on my way to work and was in shock that it sounded like World War 3 was going down. I was working in the San Francisco area and one of the reporter's on the radio said something about a plane that might be headed this way.

When I arrived at work, everybody was in shock. In fact, they let those of us who wanted to go home, go home for the day. It was werid too..before I came home, I stopped at a local Denny's ( a national chain resturant here in the USA, for you folks in the UK ), and most folks were in a daze. Surely they must have heard what was happening in New York?! They were in a daze..that's the only way I can explain it.

I totally bought into the lie at the time because at the moment those planes hit, they were showing pics of the highjackers as Arab extremists.

I think 911 was the biggest crime ever committed in history. One day the truth will come out.

...it was between 10:15 and 10:45pm at night here, waiting for Duckman to come on the TV...eating a reheated dinner after pounding the streets of Newcastle NSW for 10 hours distrbuting good herbs...then the TV switched to the first burning tower,CNN I think...and proceeded to tape the next 10-12 hours of coverage. What is interesting,is what people missed...during the broadcast...by the 2nd hour, they were discussing the need to implement Martial Law,for they anticipated panic, unrest and riots...by the fourth hours,
there was discussion that the stockmarket may crash,to implement the cashless society and the introduction of micro-chips...was anybody paying attention?did anyone else hear this?

I was in the US Navy, in my office in Jacksonville Florida on the phone when the first hit. When the second hit I was next door in the public relations office watching their TV. The base was locked down, we couldn't leave, we couldn't use the phone, it was frightning.

wow 9 years old? mad.

I was working for British telecom and my freind who sat opposite me said a plan just flew into the WTC. I didnt even know what WTC was which I ashamed to say. I realised the magnitude of it pretty quickly though and was scared of WW3. That event opened pandora's box for me.

And here we are..

I was on a news group called Alt.sports.baseball.bos-redsox on September 10
just talking baseball when all of a sudden someone posted the following below.
The next morning at about 10am or so my brother came home from his 24 hr shift at the Fire Dept (Florida) and woke me up to watch the news broadcasts of the attacks.

About a half hour later after watching the news, I suddenly remembered what happened the day before. Definitely strange.

Osama is with you tonight as you battle the evil one named Roger. I have
sent someone to plant a bomb under the mound. Be assured if things are
going bad we shall take our own measure of victory!

Do you know that threats of bombings on usenet are enough to get you
arrested? If not, you do now. If I forward this message to your ISP, they
will terminate you faster than your head can spin. Also, they might forward
this to higher authorities. Even though you are an asshole, and this is a
bullshit post, you can still get into serious legal trouble. take your head
out of your ass before you post. I am sure you don't want the cops knocking
on your door.

If nothing else, I hope today's tragedies make you wake up and realize how
stupid it is to troll these groups under the name of a known terrorist. Bomb
references and terrorism in general is not a very fresh take.

Perhaps you could take this opportunity to shake yourself and grow up,
asshole.

I'm sure our little mock terrorist realizes how badly timed his sick humor
is today. He is most likely a kid and will not want to lose face by
admitting his stupidity. But he should be very carefully for this reason:
because of the terrorist actions in the U.S. today, the authorities will be
only to ready to track a silly Usenet troll simply because he made a
seemingly tasteless comment using the name of a prime suspect in today
disasters. No big punishment, just a big hassle for his brainless words.

It would be wise to cool it for a while, Osama.... and get another act.

I had an early start for work - i think it was around 4.30am Aus time and it came on the tv. At that time i really wasnt very worldy and had no idea what the world trade centre was but i chucked a vid in a pressed record. I remember watching the second plane go in live. BTW saying "second plane go in" and "live" is just my way of describing the situation not me buying in to the whole plane no plane debate :)

Was in the pub with my mates after College (was about 18), was one of the most surreal moments sitting there with so many sombre faces. I vividly remember people blaming Sadam Hussain for the attacks!!! I didn't question the 'official' version till a couple of years later to be honest.

At work. A bloke came up to me in the corridor and said: "Have you heard? A plane has crashed in New York! It's hit the World Trade Centre!" I got to a TV just in time to see the second plane strike, and then I knew it was no accident.

everyone remembers where they were. it's just like Fritz Springmeir said in one of his mid 1990's talks , we all remember where we were when martin luther king got shot, when kennedy got shot, when the 'challenger' space shuttle blew up live on TV in front of us. not only were these killings ritual sacrifices , also they were TRAUMATIC.

at the point at which we experience this TRAUMA, programming is installed into our minds as we are FAR more susceptable to programming and subliminal brainwashing if we are traumatised.

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=1255450352571045347

on 11 sept 2001 I was sitting at a freinds house, where i had just bought some hash, and we were smoking, chatting about nothing much, I mentioned the TV 'documentary' I saw the night before on channel 4. it was one of those 'journalist in the danger zone' type programs. the show was about Afghanistan, how the 'taliban' were so extreme, blah blah, the 'journalist' kept saying how dangerous it was to film and that they might get killed if they are caught by the 'taliban'. the 'program' told of bin laden, repression, banning this and that. the thing i though was odd was that when the ' journalist' and camera crew finally met some 'taliban', they were not in danger at all, in fact the 'taliban' gaurds at a mountain outpost were pleased to see the camera, they made tea and snacks for the 'westerners' and invited them into thier 'goatherders' hut. the 'taliban' were actually jostling with each other to be in front of the camera, smiling , so happy to be in front of a camera, happy to have visitors and guests.

despite this the propaganda had somewhat worked on me as I brought up the program i had seen and remarked to my friend "did you see that program about afghanistan? those taliban geezers are a bit hardcore aren't they , banning music and the like "

he told me straight "what you got to ask yourself is WHY are they showing films like this now. they put this afghanistan stuff on the telly because they probably want to go in there and do some kind of (military) 'strike' "

"yeah , you are probably right" i said, and remembered how the 'taliban' they met in the film did not seem to be religous fanatics

just about then his mother said "come look at the news on tv"

i remember my friend saying "but i'm sure i saw this in a film, exactly this", he thought it was the end of 'fight club'

i must admit, when we saw the second plane hit, my friend did shout "yes!"
