I really think he's a wonderful actor and always have done, i sometimes don't know what to make of him because he can seem very odd. May be that's not the right word because odd doesn't have to mean strange or wired i don't know what word to discribe him. There are times when he speaks i agree, and there are times when what he says is way out there! Here's what i mean by not knowing what to make of him from these clips.
Now what he says in this clip i agree with.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTr4F-5U29Q&feature=related
And with this clip he frightens me, one minute he can talk sense and then talks jibba jabba in this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFBZ_uAbxS0&feature=related
I don't know much about scientology i'm in the process of reading about, not because i want to become one i don't, but because i want to understand it or try too. So this is not about bashing scientology it's about this man himself, i heard people say he's mind controlled and involved in the whole illuminati scene? I don't know but he interests me because i don't know what to make of him is he mad or genuine, is he evil is he good?
I would like people who have anything on tom to post it here, he's quite a compelling person and a scary one at the same time.
Peace everyone :)

Hi: I watched the 2nd clip, have seen it before, been around a while. Like you, I can't quite get a fix of Tom, but I also feel the same way about Obama. I actually find it a little frustrating, because I'm usually pretty good at figuring people out. When Tom (2nd clip) talks about Scientology, seems like he changes or goes into another zone...seems to have difficulty in putting his thoughts into words & there's a certain determination or passion that comes through. I don't know what to make of it.

Hi
Yeah i got that too, he's very determined of his views aswell nothing wrong in that at all but he's a scientologist and the mix isn't good. I'm reading up on it because i don't know much about it and want to be able to debate and discuss with people, and i can't do that if i know nothing about it. It's a scary religion for me though i know it's about alians and all but not much else.
I found this about the religion

Tom does seem very different from how he was years ago, he wasn't so intense but it seems to make him happy never the less. :)

Hi, I dont know too what to think about him, he seems to be a very good person, he has a beautyfull smille and looks sincere. But this scientolgy stuff is really strange... what i have read about it, its really odd, a cult created by a science fiction author cant be taken serious as he do and with so much passion... And what is strange too is the hollywood actors who are now in it, like travolta...

Scientology is sounding more and more disturbing and corrupt. I'm not too familiar with celebrities, but I'm sure Tom wasn't that crazy before he converted. He seems to have pretty much lost it now.

Good reasoning ayomide! You mustve learned that in college!
idiot
seriously though, the man has been brainwashed by scientology ... The onne thing that Scientology has absolutely correct, and why it is totally demonized in mainstream , is that it opposes the insanely barbaric, drug dealing, psuedo science of PSYCHOLOGY

Yes i agree it is strange and really quite sad. I kind of feel sorry for people that got into it years ago and didn't really know what it was, because it's not easy to get out of it. This clip is from 1995 it's very good.

is what the scientologists believe too far removed from what half the people on this forum believe in the form of the ike reptillian theories........they sound just as science fiction as scientology to me ,also i believe their beliefs are not so different to many other religions in regards of the fact that they believe in karma and the imortal soul that reincarnates etc.......also physiciatry has similar aspects to shamanism..........i would say its more of a cult than a religion and makes millions of dollars...........im on the fence about it .......its just as valid or in -valid as any other spiritual systems.
As regards Cruise i think the only really decent films he has made are Vanilla sky and Eyes wide shut....both have strange subject matter.......the first about a matrix style dream world that can be lived in after death and the second a legendary expose of the illuminati and its powers,a film for which its director was possibly killed for making. So he is definately in the know about the illuminati..................anyway here are some freaky tom facts.................
Tom started wearing braces in 2002. He removes them during filming.
When he was 7, he was diagnosed as dyslexic. He claims Scientology helped him overcome it.
Tom's real name: Thomas Mapother.
According to RadarMagazine.com, before Cruise started dating Katie Holmes, he invited actress Scarlett Johansson to a Scientology center where he showed her literature about the church. "After two hours of proselytizing," according to the website, "Cruise opened a door to reveal a second room full of upper-level Scientologists who had been waiting to dine with the pair, at which point the cool-headed ingénue politely excused herself."
In 1997, Cruise and other big time Hollywood entertainers took out an international newspaper ad denouncing Germany for resorting to the same totalitarian tactics against Scientologists that the country used against the Jews under Hitler during the 1930s.
If Cruise and Katie Holmes wed, each of his wives will have been eleven years younger than the last. (Mimi Rogers, b. 1956; Nicole Kidman, b. 1967; Katie Holmes, b. 1978)

Well that's one of the theories. Scientology claims to "clear" homosexuality among other things...such as nuclear burns. They believe that if an atomic bomb goes off then all scientologists will be unaffected. It's interesting that most of the male celebrities that are scientologists had huge rumors about their secret gay lives before they converted. IE, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, John Travolta, etc.
There are several scientology centers where I live. Scientology is not something you want to get yourself mixed into.

The Profit is a film about scientology that the "chuch" has recently banned in America. I suggest watching this last as it is a real movie.
Description of the movie:
Saturday, March 22, 2008 Directed by former film executive Peter N. Alexander, movie critics have characterized The Profit as a parody of Scientology and of its founder L. Ron Hubbard. Alexander was a Scientologist for twenty years, and left the organization in 1997. The film was funded by Bob Minton, a former critic of Scientology who later signed an agreement with the Church of Scientology and has attempted to stop distribution of the film. When asked by the St. Petersburg Times about parallels to Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard said: "I'll let you draw that conclusion ... I say it's entirely fictional." Dr. David S. Touretzky: "The Profit: The Movie Scientology Won't Let You See" The Profit was written and directed by Peter Alexander, who spent 20 years in the Scientology cult and gave over $1 million to the organization. Alexander is a former executive at Universal City Studios, and was the creator of several famous theme park rides, including Back to the Future, Jaws, and ET. He and his crew suffered intense harassment from Scientology agents while making the film. When the movie debuted at Cannes in 2001, all the copies of the trailers were stolen. Alexander, a soft-spoken former vice president of Universal Studios who now lives near Clearwater, attained the Church's second-highest level of spiritual awakening, OT VII, or Operating Thetan level seven, before he defected in 1997. At one point, Alexander says, he was so consumed with Scientology that he carried around a Church-issued beeper that alerted him whenever his minders decided he required counseling. Greenway, a no-nonsense blonde with a pack-a-day voice and an easy laugh, was never a Scientologist. Alexander hired her in the mid-'90s at his architectural design firm, which at the time was run using Hubbard's principles; she resisted the workplace pressure to join Scientology and eventually convinced Alexander to leave the Church. They both joined the board of the Lisa McPherson Trust—a now-defunct anti-Scientology organization that battled the Church in Clearwater for years—and made a feature-length film called The Profit about a megalomaniacal leader named L. Conrad Powers who founds the Church of Scientific Spiritualism

Yes. They are EXTREMELY far removed. Either you haven't researched Hubbard's work enough or you haven't researched Icke's work enough. Just because both involve aliens doesn't mean they're similar.

Camelot Castle at Tintagel in cornwall, is run by a bunch of Scientologists. Very well worth visiting to see the creepy photographs of Tom Cruise and other celebrities who deck the walls. The place is filled with huge paintings, good quality food and a relative of the Queen is usually in residence. If passing pop in for a coffee, we used to.
I like Tom cruise but do find him a bit creepy.........
