I entered my dream again a couple of days ago.

It was during a snooze at 10 in the morning. I went to sleep, woke up and decided to have a shower. I opened the shower door, only to find that it had completely changed. There seemed to be two showers in there rather than one. I assumed that the landlord had been making changes. I went back into my room to get a towel, opened the shower door again. This time I was stood in a backyard with a little drain and a shower. It was then I realised it was a dream. I decided to try and physically enter my dream, but was working out how.

I realised that I needed full on energy, so I ran around the back yard, going faster and faster, and the yard was expanding, and then suddenly *pop* I physically entered the dream. I left the back yard, and found myself walking around the streets of my home town of Sunderland. I approached two middle aged men, and then I froze - the electric current from the last dream tried to overpower me, but I managed to fight off the agonizing pain, and put my hand out to shake the hands of the two men. I said "Hello my name is David, and you are in my dream", to which one replied "Yes my name is David too". I thanked them for acknowledging me, and with great bursts of positive energy

I jogged up the street, on the way telling a couple that I was having an out of body experience. One rolled his eyes and said "that's nice for you son". ran to the top of the street, and looked on as these women in Islamic dress passed me with pushchairs. I ran passed a rather rotund lady and (I feel slightly ashamed for this) I thought to myself (Yes, In the the dream I was actually there with full on thought processes) should I be naughty? I to hell with it, she's just an illusion after all. I said "Hello fatso". childish, but what they hell, this was my dream, I was going to behave as immature as I wanted.

I waited some minutes, and then thought I'm going to be late for work, to which I opened my eyes and woke up.

I love becoming lucid in dreams but it only happens occasionally...

I'm not sure if it's the same as astral projection because the focus of vision is never crystal clear but very close. Every time I become lucid I find myself speaking to somebody and I get the distinct impression that they know I am dreaming but they are still individuals - different people from a different dimension with actual personality and souls who are simply sharing my dream space. The logical explanation is that we create the people in our dreams, but sometimes I really wonder!

I'm not sure if I've ever had a proper lucid dream before.

I tend to do the sorts of things you would do in lucid dreams, despite the fact I'm not actually aware that I'm really in my bed asleep.

When I get annoyed with something in a dream, it's not uncommon for me to say 'fuck it, I don't have to put up with this', and walk through a wall or fly away.

It's for the best. My actual lucid dreams I find depressing, because I notice all sorts of annoying artifacts, and it reminds me that I'm still trapped inside my brain. I have a strange desire to escape, but I don't know how, or if it's even possible.

The dreams get better. Last week, I woke up in my dream. I got up, and started to think that nothing was quite right. I then realised that I was in my own dream. I wanted to sustain the dream, so I started to run and gather up energy. Instead of me entering that dream, I started to lose my vision of all around me, the entire room went black, and I went through a tunnel towards a very small light, of which completely allowed me to throw away all "perception".

I then started to wander through the darkness, not walking or running but I was travelling through this tunnel. I left my body behind, so no physical movement was apparent. I was looking for something to dress myself in, due to the fact that I had just lost my entire body, and suddenly became a bulldozer:

Not knowing what to do, or why indeed I had just transformed into the guise of such a vehicle I left, entered back into "my" body and woke up.

Had a dream t' other night where I woke up, got out of bed, realised that I was in a dream and went out of my house barefooted. The street was full of snow, and I could feel the frosty snow freeze my feet, so I decided to fly. Rational set in, and I realised that I could not fly, but then I thought to myself "Hang On, this is all an illusion, so I can do what I bloody well like", and so I start to fly, and I could feel the cold wind passing every inch of my body. The experience of flying is fan fucking tastic by the way. I come down to earth, and set off on foot. I come to a dead end with a very high wall, and decided to climb it, remembering that I was in a dream. I stick to every part of this very smooth wall like Superman. I get to the top, and realise how bloody high in the sky I am, and fear sets in, so I struggle badly to get to the top. Then realisation of the illusion comes back and I bounce high onto the very top of the wall, to which I wake.

Interesting. Next time when you 'dream' about your neighbourhood, check how the air looks (sunshine, cloud formations etc.). Absorb it really well and then try to wake up in the physical world. Check out of the window and see if there is a difference. I've done this, and I saw exactly the same cloud formations and sun at right place too. :D

When I become aware during a dream, I always feel blissful get a sense of harmless superiority, a feeling like ''ah, now I can do some cool stuff, flying etc.'' :p

It is funny how that happens, how easy it is to enjoy the lucid dreams so much you almost forget that your dreaming then suddenly think 'oh yeah!' and carry on lucid. I always fly as soon as the dream becomes lucid as it seems to reinforce my awareness that I have complete control... and because it is so cool :D
