hello, I am a new user.
I have heard that in one year in the USA 6000 (!!!!) children disappear. I think this is an extremely high number. And you can guess what happens to them. All in all this is very, very sad. Now I realize that David Icke's agenda is very relevant.

But are you counting the ones that have just run away and are found in a friends house a day or two later, etc. You will find that most missing children are found soon after. Unfortunately some will have been killed, etc. so maybe they may end up as murder stats rather than missing person stats.
Do a bit more digging rather than just taking it at face value. Compare figures of missing kids with those that are found.
I did read Ickes work in this area and from what I recall he mentions the figures of those going missing but I do not recall him mentioning those found soon afterwards. I think I will need to refresh my memory of his books.

You referring to me? I was just asking if his figures counted those that were found soon afterwards. I was certainly not trying to bring him down.

Hi guenter welcome.
I wouldn't be surprised if that figure was higher. Apparently over a million children go missing world wide. That is missing not found or murdered.
PS I've seen this poster do this before to new members:rolleyes: Dont worry about it.:)

Come off it boots you are just trying to fuel an arguement. Nothing new there though looking at the aggressiveness of some of your posts.
If you feel its higher then offer something to back it up. All I am saying is that those statistics dont count the amount of children found. If people are going to quote such figures and then take that as a final figure then they are just going to make fools of themselves when somebody points out that nearly all of those kids have been found. Of course there will still be some missing but not nearly as many.
People have really got to stop quoting information that is partial or incomplete as all it does is to promote false views. It would be far more relevant if the stats included both missing and subsequently found kids.

Here are some examples that also include those found:

You dont have to tell some one's granny how to suck eggs first up. Its not about fueling arguements. This sites needs a cuture change in how people treat one another. Especially if we are claiming to be enlightened lovers of truth. In saying that, you are mild compared to the shit I have endured from others since arriving here. The moderators dont moderate to the tone, they are quote happy to let people rip each other to shreds. Im sure you didnt intend to come accross this way, but Im sorry mate it was bit heavy for guys whose poested his firt post in my humble opinion, backed up by another member I see. Going forward lets all enyoy each other. Peace.

I doubt boots was interested in backing him up, he just likes to takes shots at my posts. This is a personal issue and note how Boots did not contribute anything for or against, just sniped at myself.
Personally I dont think I was hard at all. My intent was to get the OP to dig around a little more rather than falling into a trap of believing that the statistic he quoted was final.

Nope not being aggressive at all marpat. You could be a little kinder to those that are new to here.
This is interesting I thank the poster from this forum for doing the research.

While reading this (http://www.sott.net/articles/show/161484-More-than-2-000-US-children-reported-missing-per-day) article here, I wondered about the total number of children reported missing and if there were figures for the numerous countries world wide. Here is what I found:-
India (http://www.missingindiankids.com/) - 10 lakhs per annum (1 million)
Belgium (http://www.missingchildreneurope.eu/?q=node/23) - 2928 for year 2007
Romania (http://www.missingchildreneurope.eu/?q=node/23) - 354 for year 2007
France (http://www.missingchildreneurope.eu/?q=node/23) - 706 for year 2007
UK (http://www.missingchildreneurope.eu/?q=node/23) - 4802 for year 2007
USA (http://www.sott.net/articles/show/161484-More-than-2-000-US-children-reported-missing-per-day) - 797,500 for one year period
Now there is a website (http://www.icmec.org/) that collects these data but as you can see, the figures do not tally. For example, if you searched under USA the figures for male and female combined comes up to only 932 for a one year period. A far cry from the 797500 as reported by the US Justice department. Strange that for a US based non-profit organization, it doesn't have the same numbers as the US Justice department. For India, it shows zero missing!
Another website (http://missingchild.wordpress.com/missing-children/) quotes figures a lot closer to the US Justice department but it does not have figures for the rest of the world.
It seems to me that to get world wide figures, once has to do a country by country search. There doesn't seem to be a place where one can get accurate figures for the entire world. The actual numbers must be truly horrifying.
