Here in England it is snowing. I hear in Australia it is too hot. Isnt really good because a number of people have died in the worst heatwave for the last 100 years.

Anyone over there in the heatwave?

Too cold here, too hot there. Typical!

Feel free to add a NWO theme if you want to.

Im listening to LBC and it looks like the traffic on parts of the M25 has ground to halt.

Should be fun, trying to get to work in the morning!

Aye, we've had a fair bit here and it's frozen over now; treachourous terrain out there, but very pretty. I talk to an aussie friend on here, he was telling me the other day temps were up to 44 degrees there, I personally don't think I could handle that. We all keep breaking new records with the weather that's for sure. Climate change eh?

I'm sure they fell short of the record, but as for several days in a row being around 43-45 degrees celsius (109 - 113 fahrenheit) it was freaking hot and it's not too uncommon, only it's been awhile. But it has settled and much cooler today - only 29 degrees celsius.

Phew, think i'd rather have the cold - We had a snowball fight earlier. Seems weird talking to folk at other side of the world sometimes, just the contrast, it's cool.

Thanks! I have seen it with my own eyes and it is still snowing outside.
The only change is no traffic up and down the street which is unusual for this time of day. :)

It has settled very well. A brilliant, beautiful white outside. Peace and quiet, singing birds, and row upon row of brick boxes all covered in white. Just perfect. Wish I could send some over to Auz, they need it.

I got caught in it and I must say the novelty wore off quickly and by the time I started to make my way home I was shitting myself. To see London come to such a standstill was SHOCKING!!! I took for granted that main roads would be clear and safe, but I was stuck in Victoria for ages, the traffic was horrendous, buses were abandoned, cars were skidding and loosing control:eek: But somehow I made it through Hyde Park Corner and got home. It actually felt like I was in a disaster movie, at multiple points you're not actually sure your going to make it, but the drive and determination keeps you going. ;)

Bless all the people on the motorway tonight that must be so scary.

(But yes it was lovely to see real proper snow like this again, its been years since London has seen decent snow)

...right this second, stranded at home from dust storms, you can taste in your mouth and lungs, can hardly breathe,8 days this month,it's been the same,
can't work on projects (Multiple cars),can't drive to investigate the strange happenings locally, just this forum and a PC,even cigarettes have become more of a chore to consume, than enjoy. The car and house is coated in a fine red dust, and the temperature has dropped to late winter.Almost looks apocalyptic, and it's school holidays, even the kids are complaining of breathing difficulties,it's a continent of extremes, regards.
