I typed in dog breeds and it was perfectly normal.

Just some stupid Google update cockup. It seems to be listing every site as potentially dangerous

edit: correction; as has just been posted above, its not listing 'dog breeds' as potentially dangerous, but a search for 'kitchens' gives all danferous results lol

edit: now kitchens is fine!

Stupid Google.

I hope this is a glitch, but it could be action to put people off visiting this site.

Perhaps that was the aim. Will the site be blocked permanently now by your work's filtering software?

Sorry for the double post here, but right after I posted that the "this site may be harmful to your computer" disappeared under Icke's site and Google is now back to normal.

I was able to access him just fine. Still interesting to note though, my workplace filtering system did block it during that little "test phase"

It's still the best search engine out there. By 'best' I mean it produces the most accurate, relevant results. That's why so many people use it. Even the other 2 main SE's dont come anywhere near it for accuracy.

If I had a viable alternative, I'd use it.

Finally got onto myp2p to view the football through streaming (after that message came up) only to find the premier league links are not working due to some legal action!

I may have to move out of this country JUST to watch the best export the country has made. Watch the premier league in England? Noooooo, cant be having that in your own country!

The message is gone now and it is/was most definitely the standard Google "This site may harm your computer" message.

Tried blackle or scroogle or metacrawler or...?

blackle and scroogle just use google's results, blackle even incorporates google ad's  Scroogle takes Googles raw data but doesn't make it country oriented, which affects many searchs getting the right results.

Any Metacrawler engine just takes lots of results from a selection of other engines... tons of results does not neccesarily equal accurate results.

Google simply works the best all around, for search.

I had the same warnings, "this site may harm your assfuck..." on pretty much every site. I heard about it from my friends in Finland. Seemed to be a global phenomenon. Now google is normal.

Something is afoot...

I reckon so,too.Granted, there are loads of malicious sites out there but more often than not,the ones Google flags are smalltime. They just brand sites they don't want you to visit.

A glitch in the Matrix defense grid, and soon they will unroll the new system.
Google even helps China block websites that the Communist Government tells them to block.

Don't worry about it, all conspiracy websites & chat rooms shall be deemed a terrorist threat in the near future.

Heh heh heh, no kidding.

To be honest, I consider myself lucky I'm able to access the sites I can. Though the higher ups tell me that they mostly determine what to block by the amount of traffic.

Guess sites like these aren't very popular amongst my collegues. Big surprise there.

For anyone who hasn't heard of it, I would recommend Scroogle.

http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/scraper.htm

It allows you to utilise Google excellent search capabilities without logging your i.p address and keeping a profile on your browsing habits. It also has no ads.

Users were warned that all search results were dangerous

Google's search service has been hit by technical problems, with users unable to access search results.

For a period on Saturday, all search results were flagged as potentially harmful, with users warned that the site "may harm your computer".

This should have no effect on other sites, there seem to be other anomalies afoot. I 'never' use Google and I am experiencing eccentricities similar to which 'therealknockoff' mentions, possibly DNS errors. (Incidentally I run an onion proxy connected to the Tor network).

This sounds rather bug-a-licious.. Could it be a problem ISP end? Haven’t noticed myself..

However, thought I’d pass-on this link.. In-case anyone here is concerned for possible data collation in respect to your IP - I personally don’t give a shite & still use google sometimes.

This search engine is running like a well oiled machine & is completely anonymous.
